Wow! I thought that was going to be a good goal. Hopefully they'll get some momentum off this.

Aaand everyone in Columbus just turned off their TVs.

Seriously though I'm surprised they waived that one off, even though it did hit his skate.

How bad was that shift after the review? A cbj player lost his stick and went back to the bench and we still couldn't clear the zone with a man advantage.... pekka is just flailing out there

Great play by Yip there, didn't lead to anything though.

Some positives though.

The Beck-Legwand-Hornqvist line still looks good.
Klein had a good game.

At times we dominated on the cycle.

Bad things too though.
Only one line looked decent.
Gill with the puck, lol.
Blum
Ellis
Gaustad defense.
Rinne still fighting the puck.

Deflected in by Clune? More like chipped in to the zone and handed right over to Columbus and everybody just watches. I'm sick of the chip in mentality of the coaching staff. Stand up and carry the puck into the zone and make something happen, not let them run all over us.

They've actually carried it in a bunch tonight.

I didn't get home until the start of the third. Well that's good to hear but they still chip in too much in my opinion.

Do you really want Clune skating it in? I don't. I don't want Gill, Gaustad or Yip skating it in either.

I don't know if its fatigue or what, but Pekka just does not look right out there- not confident, flailing- even on routine saves appears to be fighting the puck

He's leaving a ton or rebounds too. Just not typical Rinne stuff.

Crap, hope Hornqvist is OK.

Looked like Patric speared himself.

He's been so off this season it makes you wonder if he's been playing injured maybe just a little.

the choice to skate or chip is based on what options present themselves. Too often our fanbase lambastes our players for making the right decision given the situation.

I've never seen a team miss so many WIDE OPEN nets that this team has.

Part of me wanted to see Gill get the puck when he took Umbarger from the goal line all the way out to neutral ice. A slo-mo breakaway would have been hilarious.

It's funny this is an awful year for us and we're one point behind them.....
