With all those ex-Rangers how can you not root for the Jackets. Glad to see Gabby net one today and Dubi looked real good in his first game back.

Not only the players--JD is their President.

Until the Blue Jackets are in our division next season.

Well it's not like teams in our division will automatically become rivals because of it. It will take me a few years if I ever start disliking them, and with their roster, I don't think that will ever happen.

It'll only take 1 playoff series. Or Dubi acting like a Clarktard out there. it can very well happen.

That's adorable.

Yes I just described two grown men as being adorable.

Agreed. Last year's team is so much more likeable than the version we saw for the first 35 games. Maybe the new guys will change that, but regardless, you're spot on.

I really hate that the Rangers and Blue Jackets will be in the same division next year. We're gonna be big rivals, I can feel it. Especially since some of their fans feel as though they don't have a real rivalry yet. NYI, PIT, NJ, PHI, MTL, BOS and WSH already hate us, what's one more?

CBJ-PIT is going to be a huge rivalry, IMO. Relatively short distance and the former Rangers probably still hate them.

Gomez could unleash his wrist shot on a newborn in a cradle and only end up putting it to sleep.

Would have truly cemented the Rangers lineup as soft as butter, when Joe (no show) Thorton says your team is known as soft um yeah that is not good. Rangers fans now are about to see what adding Dorsett, Clowe and Moore and complimentary playmaker in Brassard does. Not Headliner names but players with Team goals instead of individual goals. I want my Bruins to win the cup but if not them I now want the Rangers

I'm sure he's a pain to play against. That's why everyone hates him

for some reason i had a weird dream the other night that on July 1 in 2015 Dubinsky resigns with NYR after Richards got bought out and then signed a 2 year deal with Flyers

The Sabres retained some of Jason Pominville's salary and cap hit as part of trade, @Russostrib reports. Number TBA.
This is why the Sabres got the picks added for Pominville

Just for fun: points for teams for the remainder of the year-

Rangers 14
Toronto 13
Islanders 13
Devils 12

I am feeling pretty optimistic now so keep that in consideration...now your turn.

I said it yesterday on the boards, the team's we have to fend off are fakers, injuryfests, or both. The Rangers will go 8-4 and get the 6th spot.

You can watch the highlight video from the game.

http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/con...48&cmpid=embed

Gabby's goal is around 2:55 in the vid. Most of the work was done by Dubi but Gabby worked hard to get around Gaustad to get in front of the net for the tip in.

I don't know whether i should feel bad about watching those guys (nostalgia) or whether i should be happy so many are on the same team and on a team i don't mind, rather than say philly.

Would be awesome to see Feds sign with them in the off-season or something.

Easy to root for, wish they weren't coming in our division. Dubi looked great on that play. I hope he finds his game as does gabby.

Could it be possible that the ultra-competitive SE division winner makes it in with less points then the 9 seed?

Because it's sure looking that way.

If that happens, they will totally change the system.
