Btw that was atrocious, embarrassing no pride type coverage on the 4-0 goal by Gagner.
I havent seen 1 game during this streak where teams have taken away time as well as the passing and shooting lanes like the Canucks did tonight.

Thats always been the recipe to beat a small puck possession team like the Oilers. This team isn't experienced enough or gritty enough to fight through it yet.

Damien Cox is such an *******. During the winning streak I casually asked him what he thought about Taylor Hall's season now (clearly he thought that I was being snarky) and he ignored my tweet until tonight. "Got anything to say tonight?" Seriously. That's what he tweeted back to me.

Detroit lost tonight, so that's good. We have a game in hand on them too.

That wasn't just a loss. It was a total domination from beginning to end. This team wouldn't survive in the playoffs, because it's teams like THAT in which they will play. They limited the Oilers using a simple strategy.

We had to lose one eventually.

Let's just hope they can bounce back.

Hopefully we see Smithson instead of Smyth on Saturday.

Size is going to be a major issue going forward with this team.

In retrospect playing the Flames two straight games wasn't a good thing. They're near AHL level right now and they allowed the Oilers to dipsy doodle all over the ice. I'm concerned that bad habits have snuck their way into the Oilers' game again.

Sticking with my original thoughts, Canucks played physical and took away the Oilers' game right from the start. We didn't have a match or a comeback for it, and thus were defeated. Can't win when you're playing into another team's defensive plan.

Oh well, you win some, you lose some. And since we just won 5 straight, might lose a couple to even it up.

He's a thin-skinned, bald *****. The amount of people he's blocked for having a differing opinion than him is enormous. You reply to him and you're next.

We were on an off night, but looking at our game schedule, this board should cut our boys some slack.

The Canuck's have been helped along by the refs for a few years now. This isn't news to us anymore. We shouldn't be surprised.

Meh team looked tired and the Canucks were very hungry tonight. Always good to remember that there are 2 teams on the ice and today, the Canucks played well.

Anybody have the faceoff stats for today? Felt like we were getting dominated.

Yup. I was at the 8-2 game against the Flames and it was not nearly as impressive as the score indicated.

It was a mirage. That would have never happened against a team that wasn't AHL quality and hadn't had its heart ripped out.

Tired team. Probably the play-offs are out of reach with St.Louis winning tonight and having two games in hand. Oh well, at least there is something to look forward to next season. The last few games were a good preview of what this team can be. If the management does not screw up in the off-season, play-offs should be reachable next season.

We need to replace about 7 forwards and 4 defenseman on this roster, I think.

Detroit is the team to catch. Same games played, just two points ahead.

I wouldn't say playoffs are out of reach yet. Detroit lost and Minny has gone cold. We still play them twice (I know we never beat them but who knows).

Damien Cox is a royal piece of crap. I was loving it when Millard was taking playful shots at him trade deadline day. You could tell it really bugged him

What do you expect from reject of 'The Reporters'? A group of self-loathing journalists who, for the most part, weren't good enough to be athletes. So they took their collective inability to be good at basically anything and became template journalists.

That's not to say all sports journalists are ****, but all sports journalists are ****.
