Did they just add it to the schedule recently?
It's funny, the other day on the NHL network when they showed a graphic for the upcoming nationally televised games, they didn't have this game on the list.

I loathe the Penguins. Every win against them is special.

Super excited for this game. I'd love to see this team put it on Pitt twice in a row. Hatty for Clowe this time around.

This ^^^ !!! Very Important from start to finish...but without drawing a stupid penalty in doing so .

I'm really exited about this one! I just want the team to give their all for the whole 60 minutes. Fight for the two points. Keep that hunger alive. From here on out they need to be on that beast mode. This needs to be that good fresh start. LGR!!

Staying up late for this game, better make an effort for the win. Nash, Stepan and Boyle (!) with goals tonight, rangers win 3-2.

Also, I was an idiot thinking "we are losing this, so no point in being awake to the morning for this" on wednesday.

Boyle will score, but it will be taken away tomorrow.

The Rangers need to just go out and play again, be loose.

Im hoping that Torts didnt bog them down too much with system stuff. Let them just play again and slowly work it in. Its a tough opponent on the road and its easy to get caught up in the whole line matching crap. I've always felt that when you focus too much on that it can prevent a team psychologically. Play a hard road game, continue the good pace. Leave it at that.

I'm also looking for the leaders to step up in this one, including Clowe. The Rangers need to get a little nasty in this game and really start to hammer into people. I think the room has gotten the shot in the arm it needs, now they just need to take another step on the road.

I'm going to be watching a few guys tonight, obviously the new additions but I'll also be watching Hagelin, whos game has been a bit off and Pyatt who I think needs to start asserting himself more, especially on the road and in a lineup thats tougher after the moves.

Other teams need to know that playing the Rangers will no longer be easy. Assert their dominance like they did last season. Don't get pushed around.

I am really excited for tonight. A great win or deflating loss is ahead.

Not sure what penguins team you've been watching. they're home record is pretty bad, as is the
quality of play at home

Not letting the pens get an early goal will be one thing I look for. The longer we can hold them off we can start working on their defense. Beating these guys is a lot about frustrating them.

This. Also not allowing any late goals, while scoring goals both late and early as well will be key.
