Big games tonight around the NHL, listed in order of importance imo:

Winnipeg/Montreal - Go Habs
Boston/New Jersey - Go Bruins
Toronto/Philadelphia - Go Leafs
Carolina/Tampa Bay - Just don't go into OT

With a win, WIN loss, and NJ loss, we move into 3rd in the EC and 1 point back of the 8th seed. Unreal. Take care business tonight, fellas.

Win your own games and you don't have to scoreboard watch.

I know you're kidding as no one wants to see injuries but you may have jinxed the Pens.

I feel bad for them. Neal is latest casualty of what seems to be a concussion. Same kind of play Stepan on Green a couple years ago. I think that was on purpose and should be a suspension.

Shanahan is in bed with the Rangers so I doubt that happens.

I want the Pens to be healthy and for us to square off against them in the playoffs. That would be great for the NHL and the respective fan bases especially if the Caps stars keep playing like we know they can.

Really? You feel bad for Pens?

Not me. **** them. Caps are no match to healthy Pittsburgh.

A healthy pens would rout the caps

Even when they have injuries they are a problem.

Watching the Pens game just pisses me off more that GMGM went for Erat instead of Clowe, especially considering Clowe was cheaper.

That's what the playoffs have been about every ******* year, yet every spring he forgets it completely.

Clowe and Klesla would have probably put us on the same level of tough to play against

Rangers would just hang up on us on a trade call, or ask for overpayment.

Klesla is no different than a Matt Hendricks.

Of course he was cheaper, a rental without a goal and with 80 PIM in 30 games.

Clowe was traded to the Rangers from the Sharks at the deadline... we'd be calling the Sharks, not the Rangers.

And I'm really not sure how you can compare a Top 4 Dman with a 4th line Grinder...

As opposed to a guy with 4 goals whose contract may be better were he a rental?

Statsturbation aside Clowe is legit and has been for quite a while. I wanted him in the offseason, didn't realize they were gonna buy. It would have been much more prudent.

The over payment by the Rangers is significant as it becomes a rental to make the playoffs. Clowe becomes a UFA this summer. Yes he was also available before the TDL with the Rangers, but why would they trade a recent piece to their lineup?

No chance. A lot of people said Bs would route caps last year.

Pens beat us this year when we were injured and getting poor goaltending. Last game vs them more indicative and that was without the big guy on D. In fact he missed all 3 games vs pens

They were without Malkin and Letang (and Morrow/Murray/Iginla)

Alzner Green
Schultz/Hillen Carlson
Erskine Olesky

Yeah we're getting routed. It's science at this point.

I, personally, would love to see the Flyers fight their way into a first-round matchup with the Pens and a complete replay of last year's series. That was entertainment.
