Torts sounds really happy about the trade.

Well Johnny, you've got your "middle of the lineup." Go do something with it.

****, do I hate having to listen to Pens announcers. Looks like I'll be watching a stream tonight.

Do they only play Penguins games on NBC/NHLN? God damn.
Same here...dreading them, I'll probably mute the sound.

Think he said they don't want to over coach offence... Hence not practicing offence at all haha

Im hoping that Torts didnt bog them down too much with system stuff. Let them just play again and slowly work it in. Its a tough opponent on the road and its easy to get caught up in the whole line matching crap. I've always felt that when you focus too much on that it can prevent a team psychologically. Play a hard road game, continue the good pace. Leave it at that.

I'm also looking for the leaders to step up in this one, including Clowe. The Rangers need to get a little nasty in this game and really start to hammer into people. I think the room has gotten the shot in the arm it needs, now they just need to take another step on the road.

I'm going to be watching a few guys tonight, obviously the new additions but I'll also be watching Hagelin, whos game has been a bit off and Pyatt who I think needs to start asserting himself more, especially on the road and in a lineup thats tougher after the moves.
He just said on the pregame interview with Sam that all coaches overcoach

Every single goal they showed Nash scoring was either against Phily or Tampa....

What do announcers do on their games off? Obviously they watch the game, but are they in the building? Do they watch it live? On teevee? Recording? Sam and Joe pizza party?

Get ready for the Beau Bennett party with Sam. He's going to talk about him non-stop.

Nash's hair is disgustingly ugly. Without a helmet or hat, that is.
