Can't name the source. However, I am fully confident that the information I received is 100% accurate.

You'll see, he is done. Not trying to start anything, believe me or not.

Yeah, I'll just go ahead and trust actual official team sources or members of the media.

Hate to say it but it's looking like I am right.

The undisclosed lower body injury is indeed his groin. Which requires surgical repair.

No reference to a groin injury. I think he's bruised and will play at Verizon Sunday.

Well it sounds like a sports hernia, which isn't a groin. It can affect the groin but is not the groin. You said it was a groin and he was having groin surgery, which if it is indeed a sports hernia is not true. I'm just saying...

I can tell you that Adam Oates was lying when he said it wasn't a groin.

Oates said it to a Washington Post reporter.

My source says otherwise. Dont ask me about Erat though, no clue on that one.

Its his hip, abductor surgery. 4-8 weeks. Book it.

As far as who I'm getting my info from. Its provable but very tedious.

Gaborik had groin problems that were attributed to an underlying hip injury, which he had surgery to correct (and I think has been fine since?). Groin but not groin.

Gaborik has lost a step or half. Not the same break out acceleration as some years ago.

Could be attributed to age, too. He's 31.

In all technicality no. It is believed to be what the cause of his groin problems were.

Oates says after the morning skate that surgery is not a consideration for Laich right now.

My guess is that since they know that even if they wait until after the playoffs for him to have surgery he should be recovered in time for next season they are giving other means a chance so that maybe he could help in the playoffs.

How about 42? Any update on him? I didn't expect him to be out so long from the blocked shot. I hope he didn't break anything or suffer the dreaded Compartment Syndrome.
