Did you expect Torontonians to miss Burn Farrell In Effigy Night?

If you want a real answer, Fridays are typically popular nights, especially with traditionally popular teams like the Sox or Yankees (Indians and Tigers are also popular for regional reasons). Add that to all the buzz the Jays have garnered and we are finally getting some decent crowds. Sucks for me because I go to a lot of games and I enjoy having a 1-seat buffer on each side. That luxury may be harder to come by this season.

Didn't the Jays average just 22,000 in the last two games?

For a Wednesday and Thursday? Not too shabby

Let's wait to see what they draw for KC on a Tuesday.

JBJ has one of the best eyes I've seen for a rookie.

Agreed. He hasn't looked too good at the plate tonight but still picked up a hit and walk.

And of course he throws JBJ out at home as I say that. Looked safe in real time honestly.

Do we have a new Rick Vaughn on our hands?

Absolutely dealing these balls right now. 98-99 and in the strike zone.

Bard could learn a thing or two by Hanny.

Nice to get the win, I understand jays fans being mad at Farrell but some of them throwing things at him was pathetic...
