He was good in the ECHL this year with a 0.75 PPG, but not GREAT...so his success is a surprise to me.
And for me, I saw him so many times in the Q. He was okay. Was there. Racked the points, but would rarely just dominate or even just be great. He,d be solid, doing the little things, finishing with 2-3 points, yet you wouldn't see him that much.
Missed part of the second period, when I got back to the game, the Dogs had lost their 2-0 lead.......again.
Kristo seems to get out of sleepiness. He showed how smart hockey wise he is on the third dog's goal. He tried to dek the rampage def, but seeing he was not going to go tru, he made a back pass to Beaulieu who passed it imediateley to Belzile, alone in the slot, thanks to Kristo bringing the def with him. First point for Kristo and a well earned one.
We had a show on a Dogs PP given by Beaulieu and Leblanc (who btw is more visible tonite), they controled the puck in the rampage zone for a least one minute.
On the last seconds of play, Hudon got knocked off by an open-hit by Brandon Nash who was not penalized on the play. Hudon could hardly get up, I hope he is ok. Nash should have got a penalty on that play, I checked the play a few time and Hudon never touched the puck before the hit, It was clearly interference from Nash.....but it is the AHL with AHL referees.....
Tinordi is fighting a guy with cage. Deveaux is such a *****. Fights with a cage, then starts punching Tinordi while he's lying on the ice being pinned down by the linesman. Pretty dirty hit on Hudon, too.
