Pens win the SO.
Hank might've hurt himself on Malkin's attempt. TBD.

Actually, it sounds like something Richards did once. He might have actually been suspended.

I don't remember that. I'll have to look it up on YouTube.

I think his two controversial board plays were the elbow, and when he moved out of the way and let Kaleta (?) run himself.

The second is obviously only controversial because Buffalo fans didn't realize Kaleta is just an idiot, and there are no rules about standing still to be padding for the guy trying to hit you.

Speaking of fans, I love watching Pitt fans have their team slammed. They always come back with "Well, how about ____ then!????" as if it's some sort of true retort or defense. The best is that the universal response is generally "yes that was dirty and I didn't like it. This is also dirty as well, though." And then generally they're generally can't accept that.

Rangers fan here: I am 100% sympathetic that you as fans and your team had to endure a six game series last postseason against the Penguins and the NHL's "referees." Their refusal to call the Pens on several occasions was blatant and by refusing to make those calls they made a conscious decision to allow them.

Did Neal jump to avoid contact in this game?

Ok now I remember I don't think Richards got suspended for that hit. He got a 5 and a game though. I think that's why I was confused at first.

I'll have to wait till someone on the main boards post a video of the Neal hit so I can go over it again.

Yeah Pens fans are hilarious. I just saw a Ranger fan calling Neal a dirty player and a Pen fan reasoned with "show me some evidence". I lost my **** on that one.

I think the last player I had less sympathy for than James Neal was Scott Stevens.

If you mention the refs missing calls, pens fans start attacking you with some video of how the refs missed a call 12 games ago that resulted in a goal against. They are pretty ridiculous

I like Carolina's crew the best. Pretty knowledgable and unbiased.

I don't mind him. He calls a spade a spade whenever I watch their games. I rather have that than what had to listen to tonight in the Pittsburgh/New York game.

Haha, someone on the main board described very accurately what I dislike the most about them:

Avs score: Oh yyeaaaaahhh theeeyy scoooreeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

Anybody else scores: Ehm.. They... Score..

Rooting for you guys to get the 8 seed and embarrass the Pens in the playoffs again. Good luck the rest of the season!

I used to hate that, as well, but now find it charming I still find the voice inflexion he does annoying, though (e.g. "and he cuts iiieeeeeeen").
