If anything Rangers fans were making the excuses, the amount of posts saying how much the Pens suck with their injuries was amazing. Like Rangers fans don't want to give the Rangers credit for anything.

Ok, I'm NEVER this guy, but I'm so furious - first my TW DVR didn't record the game as it was supposed to and then MSG+HD showed the ****ING score at 11pm just as they were supposed to be firing up the Rangers in 60. Can someone be so kind as to give me a 2-3 sentence synopsis of the game?

Yeah you're absolutely right, but like I said, logic fails many people on this site no matter who they root for.

Rangers pretty much dominated the game. Fleury was really good. Rangers generated chances all night. jokinen scored in the first minute if the third, Nash tied it with less than 5 minutes remaining off the face off. Great chances in OT too. Couldn't score in the shoot out.

Matt Cooke was his usual disgusting POS. slashed Hank. Dupuis went hunting for Del Zotto, and Kunitz dove in order to draw a penalty. Refs were dumb as usual.

I thought the whole team looked great!
My 3 stars are, in no particular order: Nash, DZ & Zucc

Rangers dominated, lots of missed calls, lots of ******** from Matt Cooke (surprise!), DZ with a elbow to Neals head, Dupuis goes after DZ after the whistle and Fleury stood on his head.

EDIT: Beat me to it.

Anyone watching NHL Network? Apparently the Penguins had an "impressive" win against the Rangers tonight. Was I watching the same game?

Pens fans ballistic on the main boards--that hit was nothing compared to Cooke's elbow on McDonagh a couple years ago or his run at Anisimov. He's ended players careers. Got away with cutting Erik Karlsson's achilles tendon this year. ******** that he's ****ing reformed.

Personally I hate that ****ing team more than any other and it's not even close though the Devils come in second. I don't know if we have another game against them but if we do I'd have ****ing Haley up. He's already got some real history with those ****ers. Maybe McIlrath too.

Let's not talk about getting banned on the main board, or talk about the main board at all. Just stay away from it.

God dammit Zen you ruin all the fun!!!!!

Anyways liked what I saw from the boys over the past two games. I might end up eating crow on the Clowe trade as hes been better than I thought. Im still nervous about giving up what we did and what his contract details could end up being though.

Really really happy with what Brass has brought to the team, and Moore has been solid. Anxious to see what Dorsett brings.

I need to learn to stay away from that snakepit after a game like this. Anyway....

Good game overall. Definitely made it difficult for them. Fleury was just unbelievable. tonight. Can't complain about 3/4 points, however, when you consider who we played.

DZ gets my POTG for getting the Pens all worked up and telling Malkin to sit the **** down.

I can't believe this is the same board that would ***** about great WINS like the one against the Leafs and you guys are so happy with a loss. I'm not upset, in fact I'm encouraged, I'm just shocked how positive this board has been, what happened?

If they can win 3 in a row 5th or 6th Is doable, that would be awesome

Love that throw down by DZ. We do that like what once a year when the opposition crashes on Lundqvist???

Yeah it was so impressive how they had to have their goalie bail them out every minute because of their inept defense. It was especially amazing how they needed the refs and the shoot out to win. Yeah, definitely impressive. Woo! Go Pens!

I wasn't pissed at all. When we lose and play like **** like they have for 90% of the year, that's why we've been moaning and whining for most of the year.

Haha it was Dizzy who threw Malkin on his ass? Michael Del Goddo. Amazing game from him tonight. Not sure if him or McD had a better game. They were treats to watch in both zones. Probably MDZ since McD was the one with the weak pass to the boards that lead to the goal.

This was like watching last years team.

A week ago we would have lost 2-0.

Whether it is a temporary shot in the arm or a long term chemistry change remains to be seen. But it's encouraging.
