That's how I see it.

I don't see why the team would rush Plekanecs return when they are in a VERY comfortable position.

I think it was a precaution and I'm pertty sure he's at near 100%. (assumption)

BTW- Bourque also taking part in the team practice.

I still wouldn't play Pleks tonight. Three more days off before next game is perfect.

I hope Bourque has no setbacks and the team takes its time with him. The way he was playing this season would be a huge plus for our playoff run. This team has depth that will give all opponents fits if we're healthy. Don't rush him back but hopefully he gets a few regular season games in.

There's no contact drills in a morning skate usually. Bourque was on a 5th line with Dumont and Blunden.

Perhaps. But I would assume he has to go through at least 2 practices with contact.

I really doubt the habs brass would allow pleks to come back unless he's ready to go. This organization normally tends to ere on the side of caution.

Looking really bad right now for Alexei...

Emelin vient de quitter le Centre Bell. Ça regarde mal car il marchait péniblement à l'aide de béquilles, le genou gauche dans une attelle.

Walking with crutches and he had a knee brace.

I guess the positive is he wasn't rushed to the hospital.

Yeah. It could be a sprain or a bruise. As long as its not surgery I think we'll be cool. Didn't look like it tickled though, he was in tons of pain.

I hope they call up Tinordi and pair him with Markov. Markov will be a good mentor.

If Markov has the same effect on Tinordi he had on Komisarek, Tinordi will soon look like Pronger

But there's a good chance we'll have Diaz and Emelin for the playoffs right?

We just don't know the extend of Emelin's injury. Who knows when Diaz play again.

I expect Diaz to be back for the playoffs. I think he'll get a few games in beforehand too - at least I hope so.

Playoffs are only 3 weeks away now, so I don't know about Emelin. If it's badly sprained it could easily be 6-8 weeks for him. Bad timing for sure. It would be nice to go into the playoffs healthy for once, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen now.

I hope it's not as bad as it seems - I really was psyched to see Emelin in the playoffs.

If it's a minor strain/partial tear, 2-3 weeks.

If it's a damaged meniscus that doesn't require stitching but that they want to clean up, 3-4 weeks.

If it's a torn meniscus that they want to stitch, 6-8 weeks.

If it's a torn _CL, he's done. At least 6 months.

When Bourque returns, where does he play? First three lines are a lock, basically.
