The more I watch Calgary, the more and more I like Cammalleri. Great player...

Babchuk had a shade over two minutes of ice time. In the entire game.

Hartley's clearly not a fan. A shame no one wanted him at the deadline.

Maybe package him for a top 5/10 pick? I just really like Backlund and I would like to keep him around.

Why? It's not exactly like the Flames are strong down the middle. Getting rid of the only young forward on the team that is a certifiable NHL'er doesn't make sense considering the Flames are rebuilding now.

Loved Backlund's game tonight. Thought he played well most shifts.

Also I loved how Carson was out in the last minute.

if backlund can move us from 18 to 10-12 i'd probably do it. if monohan falls to us there that would be great

Pretty unlikely Monohan falls out of the top ten. Or that Backlund along with the St.Louis first would be enough to move into the top 12.

His worth is considerably higher for the Flames than it would be for any other team. Would be foolish to move him at this point.

If the Flames trade Backlund, I will stick the handle of my handheld vacuum in my anus and put the pictures on Craigslist.

Another loss, but **** it, good game. Vodka tastes great. Time to drunk text some mofos and get this night going.

Not hungry for breakfast anymore....

Backlund has been awesome. I am biased but I hope we resign him.

I know I would still shop to see, and like the other poster said if you can move up and grab Monohan I would do it. I really like Backlund but its his time to step up and show he wants to be part of the future of this team.

How has he shown otherwise?? Seriously. There's no point in trading Backlund, he won't get us that high and we need all the young players we can get. Especially one that's actually homegrown. I love how Backs has his best season to date, and somehow still is expendable and being doubted.

How about we just go ahead and trade Brodie, he'll probably get us into the top 10, I don't see how he's proven to want to be part of our future.

Why use backlund to trade down in the draft, to get the mid to low teens where generally guys who have 2nd line potential are found... When backlund is already a great second line center?

Trading anyone under the age of 25 who still has upside is counter productive during a rebuild.

Also, I am amazed that Brodie and Butler both played 26 minutes last night.

As much as we **** on Butler he has been fairly solid this year and should be kept around.

With Babchuk playing a little over 2 minutes the whole game. That was probably Babchuk's last game as a Flame unless Gio's not playing again tonight.

He can play in the NHL but I don't see the upside in him that I can see in TJ.

Brodie skates much better he generally sees the ice better (a few games this year though he's tried to force things and looked stupid doing it), he can score goals from the point.

Wake up hung over as ****. First post I read of the day. Awesome. If backlands traded I'd be pissed at this point. Probably not anus suckage pissed, but I understand. I'd probably just email the pics to feaster ;-)

He did step up this season. Would be silly to move him.

Clearly The Anton can accomplish in two minutes what it takes other defensemen over 20 minutes to do.

All hail His Antonness
