The 2nd half of his 20 year old season he took off and was generating a lot of offense with Mallet and Trainor. The way he is playing I wouldn't be surprised if the Habs sign him to an ELC.

I find the big difference between Hudon and Archambault is hockey sense. Hudon is like Pat Bergeron just reads the play very well and always in good position.

Hudon has the hockey sense of a first rounder but the body of a non drafted player. Don't know where it will lead him. I fear injuries will be his downfall. It's a shame because when he plays kids his age, he's always one of the best on the ice.

So he gotta find a personal trainer or train at the Habs facility all summer long to gain at least 15-20 lbs. Good diet and 2 times a day workout

It works for Gallagher although I do fear concussion issues for him as well, but at least Gallagher is now strong enough to go in high traffic areas. His legs are huge and because of that, he's damn strong on his feet.

Gaining 15-20lbs in one summer wouldn't be good for somebody Hudon's(or any hockey player) size. Anything more than 7-10lbs a year wouldn't be good for his game. Hudon's final pro weight should be about 190-195lbs(at close to 5'11") and it should take him about 4-5 years to get to that weight.

agreed. Hudon knows what to do at all times with the puck where Archambault i've noticed ends up just spinning his wheels at times.

agreed, I love how creative he is on the ice but do fear what impact injuries will have on him. Really hope he can find a way to improve his lower body strength the way DD did.

For someone with his frame, that would be really tough if not impossible to add that much weight over a summer via the healthy way and not just sitting around eating jars of lard. But he has time since he has to go back to juniors next year and should have a couple years in the AHL after that to try and fill out/improve his lower body strength.

There has to be some concern for Gallagher since he goes so balls out every night but he does have good strength so hopefully he can teach some things to Hudon!

Wow, that hit by Deveaux plastering Hudon into the boards... What a dirty player.

Rude awakening for Hudon. Hope he is alright... He seems to get injured a lot.

Heck, I'd rather he be less effective out there during his ATO, trying to see what the pro game is like - and remain in one piece! - than trying to be 'effective' at the cost of safety.

Deveaux had a cage on, so it wasn't really fair. Tinordi came over after Hudon got hit by Deveaux and then they exchanged shots back and forth as the linesman were trying to break it up. Deveaux and the linesman jumped on top of Tinordi and both Tinordi and Deveaux went down. As Tinordi was being held down by the linesman, Deveaux started throwing punches. Pretty cheap if you ask me.

He's 5'11. He needs to bulk up, his size is fine.

Only chance is Tokarski is the starting goaltender instead of Mayer.

No. Lefebvre is just a stubborn head coach who will never sit the 2 goons or Nokelainen. So the kids will rotate it appears.

Holy god, what a hit by Tinordi.
