Very okay with this as the Stars. Would be happy with either Lindholm or Monahan at 7.

Personally prefer Compher, but Dickinson isn't a bad pick

Love this for the flames morissey at 18 is a steal. Also Drouin and Klimchuk are great. Would probably have compher or Lehkonen with 29

I agree with this as well. As another Ducks fan I'd also rather have Compher over Dickinson.

Avs fan, and I'm fine with ours, but I think Calgary would probably pick Barkov. They need top end centers more than anything.

I think I am higher on Mueller than most but I do think he is a very good pick at that spot. I know the 1st round isnt exactly where you draft on need but look at this:
-Forward prospects: Koko, Spooner, Camara, Knight and Griffith.
-Defense prospects: Hamilton and maybe a few bottom pairing guys.

A D-man at that spot would really be best.

Its tough but I think Dickinson brings more to the table than Compher. Would both be good picks though.

Passing on Drouin there would probably be one of the worst things to do IMO. Not a knock oon Barkov but Drouin is just too good to pass on.

If the oilers finish outside the top ten and no one significance with size or is a solid damn falls then they picks lazar. Or at least that's what all signs point to.

Don't mind Lazar, but I think I prefer Horvat at this point. Even Hartman at 15 is someone to think about. Any of them I'd be fine with.

Calgary has more holes to fill than just centre. I see us having both Jones and Drouin higher on the list than Mackinnon or Barkov if we had the choice.

Jackets fan here. Mantha, Gauthier, and Rychel is a huge haul. Great muscle, scoring, and competitiveness there. Not many of us believe Mantha has any real issues, although many won't want him with our top pick. And I doubt Domi would fall to 20 either. But taken all together that's a great trio to pick up.

This is such a solid draft, btw.

I can't say as I really understand Buffalo taking Fucale (except to screw up the leafs, who need him more than anyone else), or for that matter Ottawa taking Domi (except, again, to screw up the leafs) but if that does happen, everything is perfect.

Love this mock for Calgary.. Injects a ton of talent, and brings two local boys back home!

Klimchuck and Morrissey are both huge Flames fan, and grew up in CGY!

In the mid-late teens the Islanders will take Fucale. Goaltending depth is their last major need.
