Does anybody know how many games this season we have allowed the first goal?

Streit would be magic with EJ or Seth. I'm most looking forward to seeing new faces on the blue line. Hunwick or Zanon are gone, no doubt. Maybe SOB if his value is simply worth moving over the summer.

I want the same thing, however I'm skeptical like everyone else that either of Hunwick or Zannon will be gone.

Zannon just can't do the Parenteau like PA Parenteau.

LOL. Sherman isn't going to sign a defenseman in his mid 30's.

It's not Zanons fault Smith is right handed and had a catching glove there.

I really wanted Streit before this season, but I'm not so sure anymore. Not had a good season in Islanders. He is starting to lose it.

something along the lines of

ginner-dutch-pap
landy-O'R-mcleod
bordy-mitchell-malone
DVG-olver-pajamas

unless o'reilly and mitchell have switched.

Haynes and McNabb just called Hunwick the Avs best Dman all season...

Even they're on board with the tank.

Sherman's job will be on the line starting next season when he relieves Sacco. He'll start taking things seriously, maybe even pull off a big trade with Staz. GMs only get a couple coaches before they go. Next year will also be year 5, where we have to make the playoffs.

Hunwick, Zanon or SOB, one maybe two can stay as bottom pairing guys, no more.

Streit - EJ
Hejda - Barrie
SOB - Seth
Hunwick

Something like that. Good enough for ~20th on defense if not more.

McNabb is so knowledgeable, Hunwick has been the best and most consistent defense all season.

Mcky knows we have been tanking since the start, that's the only way that makes sense.

I'd swap SOB with Wilson or even Siemens IMO. Carry eight like we did this year...

Streit - EJ

Hejda - Jones

Siemens/Wilson - Barrie

O'Brien/Hunwick

And give Seth the better veteran as Barrie will have more experience.

Hejda? Zanon? Both are close enough. 15 mil, 3 years.
