Calgary Flames @ Vancouver Canucks 8PM HNIC

Looks like one has not been made yet, and I'm too lazy right now to put in the work.

Max Reinhart is taking Curtis Glencross' spot according to Randy Sportak.

Quote:
Just talked to #flames Max Reinhart. Ecstatic about making NHL debut in his hometown. Curtis Glencross (leg) won't play. Kiprusoff in goal

Can't wait to watch Reinhart play. He's been really good in the second half of the AHL season.

Has he (not being sarcastic)? I haven't seen any Abbostford games nor do I play close attention but I just looked at his stats and he is a -25 which is dreadful.

And that's why you can't judge a player just from stats.

He started on the 4th line and struggled to start the season. But once he was moved off the 4th, his production and play vastly improved.

Keep in mind too that Ward's system with the Heat depresses offense and point production.

I partially agree and that's why I posed the question - but you can still somewhat judge a player based on stats and -25 is glaring, especially if the coach is harking on defense first, offense second.

He didn't get the chance to do much offensively early on - he was tasked with shutting down the other teams top lines along with a significant role on the PK.

A good offensive system will produce a much higher +/- figure than defensive systems will. All the players that have played for the Abbotsford Heat this season post a combined -141 for the year.
