In my mind, Lundy got a 50 save shutout. Boyles moronic turnover is all on him.

Seriously, who decided in this poll that Lundqvist is not one of the 3 stars of the game? What else did he have to do? Save a baby? Resolve the Middle East crisis? End Third World hunger?

We didnt play overly well, especially in light of how we looked yesterday.

We weren't crisp at all and were sloppy with the puck in our own end. The execution in the offensive zone wasnt good either. How many times do we pass up a shot to pass the puck on to someones backhand?

Brian Boyle should not be getting this much ice and should not be on the top PP unit.

Good first 10 and 2nd period.
Looked dead in the 3rd, probably because of 3 games in 4 nights.
Thankfully we have the king!

Henrik in God mode.

Why does Brian Boyle get so much ice time?

Hopefully getting outplayed was a result of the back to back, and they'll come out early next week and get Toronto and start looking at the 6 spot.

Probably a case of people selecting three stars of the game.

Edit: I guess slightly less than 5% of voters didn't vote for Lundqvist.

Boyle was terrible tonight, he's solid on the PK and faceoffs but brings nothing else. How he logged over 19 minutes of ice makes me angry

Tweaks hammy in great game on Friday.

Spins a 48 save effort in even better game the next day.

Love the Hank.

Why did they pull ellis after 2 periods?

He wasn't terrible considering he's a turd-string goalie (other then the nash-callahan goal where he got punked big time)

** The King
*** HEN-RIK!!!

HM: Lundy

I feel there should be a special rant tonight about the play of Brian Boyle. When he has position to use his size, he doesn't. When he has a spot to shoot, he flubs it. When he should pass, he dumps it in. When he should dump it in, he passes. He is careless with the puck. He is a detriment in the defensive zone. He is a turnover machine in the neutral zone. He is absolutely useless in the offensive zone. He is 100% to blame on the only goal the 'Canes scored tonight, for unfathomably trying to force a cross-ice pass through the neutral zone with his team up by 3 with 10 mins. remaining. The PP looks good, when he is either a. not out there or b. doesn't touch the puck.

There are two kids in the system that have shown they can come up here and play in Torts' system without being the detrimental black hole of offense that Brian Boyle is. As it is... he gets the most ice time of any player. Tort's... BENCH THIS GUY AND BRING SOMEONE IN HERE WHO CAN PLAY HOCKEY!!!

Really don't understand why Torts was playing Boyle so much. He's an effective player in the right role, and that role is playing 10-12 minutes a night, and killing penalties. Not PP time, not extra ES time. 3rd line minutes.

Torts misusing his players.
