Lucic seems like a very well spoken guy. Even though I hate him

Ovechkin's contract isn't quite so bad with his improved form and the Perry and Getzlaf contacts.

He's pretty much back to his old form at this point so it's definitely 'not that bad'.

I said earlier when Caps were still sucking that Oates was finding ways to get them to play more like they used to and it was only a matter of time. I'm glad I wasn't just talking out of my ***.

Boston looked asleep for the first period but they're pouring it on now. Haven't heard Jagr's name much so far though.

Newsflash....Chara to be traded in the off-season

(according to Don Cherry, Boston fans wouldn't accept a diver on their teams ).

Hilariously, it's not the first time Chara's been hurled to the ice by the 'bone crushing' Eller.

Leafs WC jerseys are terrible. The stripes are not cohesive with the crest at all.

Detroit's are okay, not really anything special.

Soooooo not watching 24/7 with Nonis on it. Unless Lou gets traded there. He'll literally be the only intentionally funny one out of the two teams (Datsyuk is unintentionally hilarious).

Chara embellishes much more than people realize.

I wonder if Canucks will host a future outdoor game? Detriot/Toronto game is pretty much a money grabber and for tv rating

I think there was a rumor going around that the Canucks and Sens might do an outdoor game in 2015 to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the Millionaires/Senators cup final.

I know it's the fourth period, but...

To clarify: DET/TOR Jan 1 game is ONLY "Winter Classic" next season. Games in LA, NY & maybe VAN are additional outdoor games on diff days

As we reported this morning, the NHL is hoping to have 2 outdoor games in LA and likely NY on same day, likely Hockey Day in America.

And the one we care about:

Heritage Classic in Vancouver "likely" per a source... Would be diff day than the LA/NY games

Chicago vs Van Winter Classic. Make it happen next year. I would pay to go to Chicago to see it if that's where it would be.

Television gold. Bieksa will need 2 episodes for himself, understandably.

Detroit really sucks against every other team but us.

One more matchup.
