lundqvist - duh
cally - good night for him overall. couldn't believe somebody was in position for the nash pass
stepan - continues to grow into a solid #1 2-way center

hm:
nash - obviously scored one and set up game winner
zucc - huge asset to the pp, strong defensive game tonight

stepan 4 game point streak and 6 points in his last 4. i think sam mentioned he's PPG in his last 20 games or so.

Team did what they needed to do to get a win. Hank stood on his head and kept us in it and the Power Play (ikr wat?!) rewarded him with two goals! Our PP is helping us win games! They showed us they could play tight playoff hockey against the Pens last night like we did last year. Pretty impressed by all the games since the deadline, for different reasons. Blowout, great defensive play, stellar goaltending, physical play and a more creative offense! Definitely fun watching the team again.

Broadcast mentioned 21 in his last 20 before being credited with another assist

OR he's been PPG for his last 25 games

Thank you Hank. Good too see him finally playing up to his potential. I did think the lone goal he let in was a little softie, he should have had it.

Also, Stepan is 17th in scoring by centers, 36th among all skaters and a +17 with is good for 7th. Pretty great 2 way first line center we got ourselves here

The King has been living up to and beyond his potential for 8 years...

Lol, I don't know what team people have been watching. Potential? He won the Vezina last year.

And could very well win it again if he continues this ridiculous play through the final 10 games.

Of goalies that have started at least 25 games, he's second in both GAA and SV%

Reduce the games played requirement to 20 games ( roughly half the season) and he's still 2nd in SV% and 3rd in GAA

If this team could score, he'd have the wins to back him up. In 33 starts, Hank has allowed 3 or more (4) goals 9 times, only two of those games resulted in wins... and has lost 7 while allowing 2 or less...

4th in sv%. (Bishop and Anderson are ahead, but having played half the possible games, they won't win.) 6th in GAA (again, Bernier, Emery, and Anderson can be counted out.) Wish this team didn't derp with the puck and he could get his shutout.

Just more support for that Vezina. continue to play the way he's been playing, move up in those categories, and Hank will have a strong chance once again for the Vezina.

It will be very empty. Everyone would have jumped off the GW Bridge by then.

100% agree. boyle was atrocious out there. i fail to see how moore sits for the 3rd and boyle gets 6 minutes. torts needs to wake up w/ boyle. he's useless. he does nothing. when he's playing poorly he's not going to do anything useful except MAYBE win a faceoff, but take him off the ice right after that garbage.

I don't think I was watching the same game as you guys. I didn't see Boyle do anything blatantly awful. He got more playing time because we need to rest our guys going into the playoffs. He will get 3rd line minutes come playoff time. Boyle and Brass have really good chemistry. Unfortunately, a lot of you are blinded with hatred towards the guy to see that he's been involved in some great screens in front of the net since Brass came over. He's not awful. He's a grinder that plays defense and scores the occasional dirty goal. He doesn't dictate his own playing time.

2 minors and a neutral zone giveaway that directly lead to Carolina's only goal?

My pet peeve is the give away. Was just a poor cross ice pass, the kind that drives me nuts and usually gets picked off.

He had a couple nice shifts and played a physical game, I will give him that.
