You don't necessarily even need pots for tomatoes -- straw bales with stakes stuck in 'em work.

Take a jaunt over to the library or B&N, check out stuff on urban homesteading. It's pretty cool what you can grow in a little space.

We have 0 square feet of dirt, but we have run a successful garden for a few years in the windows. We just had snapdragons bloom and two other mystery flowers. The best thing we have going, though, is an avocado tree grown from a pit.

We get small amounts of beans, peas, and an inedibly small ear of corn each year. Get a topsy-turvy tomato plant, Afino. Hanging it will give you more window space for other plants.

The gal and I spent all day selling our wares at the Buffalo Small Press Book Fair and we will be back tomorrow. Come buy our crap, one and all! You want fake book purses? We've got fake book purses! You want pillows that look like foxes? We have pillows that kind of look like foxes! You want bookmarks? Basically anything flat can be a bookmark, but we've got those, too!

The downfall of a common name and a google.com email is getting other peoples email all the time. Usually it's an English real estate person. But, the last few days I've been getting something for a pitching prospect of the Nationals. I've informed the senders several times. But, now I just got a strength and conditioning manual for pitchers in my inbox.

Wish I actually knew where to get drugs so I could get some muscle relaxants for my damn shoulder

Will have to wait until Monday, or later if the doctors office doesn't have time. Argh!

Meh, that was close, but the one that was really bad was the 4th foul on Carter-Williams...that should have been an offensive foul on Hardaway for sure. Unless Pronger Physics have made its way to the NCAA.

Meh. Both calls were bad but when you don't make shots, you don't win. And when Michigan hits every 30-footer they try, well, it's not really your night.

I hope Louisville runs them out of the gym.

But I don't like Louisville and Pitino...I can't root for them!

Maybe Michigan will win, but have to vacate the title.

Yeah, that was an absolutely brutal call. I don't really have much interest in the final now; I hate Pitino and I don't like Michigan. I guess I'd rather have Michigan win because of Beilein.

Of course, the the Boeheim haters are already coming out of the woodwork. Yes, it's his fault that the players missed open shots. It's his fault the refs made some bad calls.

Sooo... This wouldn't be a classic OT without me asking something...

So, I know how to get to the southtowns from Lancaster. But what's the quickest way to get on route 5 from using the 400 or Transit? (I know I make a right off of transit too. But then I'm lost.)

Transit intersects Route 5 by Eastern Hills Mall.

That's insane. The defense only held one of the best offensive teams in the land to less than 40% shooting. This team was just always limited offensively.

I hope Fair and MCW come back for another year. If not they better have some freshman guards who will be ready to play at the top of the zone from the get go...

Look at me being a rebel and stuff.

Always had and have a ton of respect for the 'Cuse program. They'll get there again.

Fair is probably 50/50. MCW is gone.

And they have some dude coming in next year. His name?

Tyler Ennis. And yes, he's taller. Him and Cooney will most likely be starting.
