I wish he takes Gionta's spot but Prust will likely go down on the 4th line.

Yup, Bourque's probably gonna start with Eller and Galchenyuk.

But I'd like to see Bourque back with Plekanec and Gionta with Eller and Galchenyuk.

yeah good point the lines have been playing pretty well as of late, I'd hate to see prust down on the 4th line I like the energy he brings playing with skilled players, also not afraid to go in the corner and get the puck for them or go to the net and cause havoc

not going to happen IMO, Ryder is a PPG player playing alongside #14.

I'm sure Prust goes down, although I agree, he does more if the dirty work a guy like Gionta can only dream of doing.

Flip flop Bourque and Gio and that's my lineup.

We need to get another big body on the Desharnais line. The Eller and Gallys kid line would be great to watch.

I'd disagree. I think DD's line needs a player that's better defensively and has some size in the D zone. Gionta might be more effective on the 3rd line with Eller.

Ryder - Plekanec - Gallagher
Pacioretty - Desharnais - Bourque
Galchenyuk/Prust - Eller - Gionta
Moen - Halpern - Prust/Galchenyuk

Depending on game situation Galchenyuk and Prust get swapped throughout game. With Halpern looking pretty much as good as he was the last time he was with the team I think this is 4 balanced lines. Plekanec is good enough to cover Ryder/Gallagher's D issues. Bourque improves the Pacioretty/DD duo a little on the D side.

I would hate the dreaded 'out indefinitely with lower body injury' announcement.

3 weeks - he comes back for start of playoffs
4 weeks - he misses first two games of first round
5 weeks - he misses first round

Praying 3 weeks, hoping for 4 weeks, but expecting 5 weeks.

Is weber healthy? I'd like to see him get a few games in, I think he can play some solid hockey if he can play a few games in a row.

What makes you think this time frame? Has anything been released yet?

Why would they call anyone up today when we don't play until Tuesday? Just to keep him from playing Houston today?

Bourque hasn't played in a long time. I can see MT starting him out slowly to gain some confidence. I don't think he steps into a top 9 role. I can see him starting out on the 4th line. Unfortunately for White, he's going to lose his spot in the line-up, which is too bad. He's been playing well.

It's nice to have the depth though.

One of Beaulieu or Tinordi will be called up today. Habs will want them practicing on Monday with the big team. Dogs are in Houston which probably has direct flights to Montreal.

He's been healthy for over a week. The problem with playing him is, he's played so little, so you are getting a rusty player. Sending him on a conditioning stint would be wise.

I disagree completely. If MT refuses to play him, it's for a reason.
Weber has never impressed me. What surprises me is that he is still a Hab after the trade deadline.

4th line is usually purely a grinding line, if Bourque isn't with Plekanec he'd probably be with Eller...though that line would have 2 LW and Plekanec would have 2 RW.

MT never refused to play him, he was stuck behind 6 d-men playing well until Diaz got hurt, then he got hurt his first game in the lineup.
