To be fair, it's the Marlins. Wait and see, but fun so far.

Hey guys, I'm going to be visiting Washington next weekend. Will I have any trouble picking up Nats tickets right before the game, or should I buy in advance?

Thanks!

I would think the Braves would be a pretty big draw, but I would still think you could get something at the box office.

I mean, were I you I'd be looking at stubhub or whatever now to see if I could lock in something I wanted, but I wouldn't consider it a huge risk otherwise.

Also worth noting that your chances are a lot better if Starsburg's not pitching. If he is, I wouldn't take my chances at the box offices.

I think Saturday/Sunday will be Stras/Gio, so those are draws as well.

Thanks for the insight, I guess I'll get my tickets this weekend then.

I appreciate the info!

If he misses the rest of the year which is totally possible he'd have gotten paid $338,983.05 per game from 2010-2013.

We’ve achieved the rare Papa John’s Trifecta:

NATS50 – Nationals score 7 or more runs and win (scored 7 runs and won)
WIZ50 – Wizards score 100 or more points and win (scored 104 points and won)
CAPS50 – Capitals score 4 or more goals and win (scored 4 goals and won)

Edit: Doesn't matter as you can't stack the codes. If you could you'd get free pizza

Papa's wouldn't be that stupid

Matt Harvey. Remember that name, 24 year old Mets pitcher, 7 IP tonight against the Phillies 9 Ks, 3 hits and 1 earned run to go along with his previous start against the Padres in which he pitched 7 innings with 10 Ks, 1 hit and 0 runs. So in 14 innings that he's pitched this season, he has 19 strikeouts, given up 4 hits and just 1 run.

Strasburg is over managed.

His dominant pitch was taken away from him in favor of pitching to contact and now his off speed is less effective as a result. Face palm.

He throws to hard to pitch to contact imho. What pitch are you referring to?

Stras doesn't even have great control this year.

I wanna know whats wrong with everyone, its not just Stras who's hurting. Its everyone. Is that pitching or did they massively over-achieve last year?

His fastball is more consistent but not what it was.

He's been coached to pitch to
contact in the offseason to limit pitch count.

His stuff is still there but it's being handcuffed. He's just not used to or able to do it.

Well as a Mets fan I only caught the last 3 innings of last night's game but obviously enjoyed the performance from Harvey and even Davis and Duda. As a Mets fan I also realize that last night's game will probably be the highlight of the weekend for the Mets. Other than Niese and Harvey, the Mets starters are . Most Mets fans are looking towards the 2015 season, that's when they envision the likes of Jonathan Niese, Matt Harvey, Zach Wheeler, Noah Syndergaard and Raul Montero will be the Mets starters.
