If Rivas have a setback or gets injured again then we need depth at center back. I really dislike the decision to send Valentin out on loan, Camara would have still been a good option at CB.

Ouimette was solid during his first game and he had ONE bad half (ok, a terrible one) against KC. He is not even 21, give him time, he'll be a good one. The potential is there, and outside of that bad half, the performances have been there also. We have to be patient, not every young CBs can be Raphael Varane who can make a great impact at 19 years old.

Sure, we do lack depth, but I think the plan is pretty clear, they want to give a shot to the Academy players. Tissot and Lefevre will have their chance and sending Valentin to Norway hints to that. We will see soon enough if their faith in their Academy players is the good decision. It is a risk, but it isn't really riskier than the options we had.

But what IF he is the next Varane?

Impact de Montréal @impactmontreal
#IMFC head coach Marco Schällibaum has taken a few days to return to Switzerland. He will be back in Montreal on Monday.

Sure he will. He is probably running for the hills. We will never see him again.

Someone made a neat clip on the stadium in snow. Similar to the ads that ran pre season.

Watch it full screen in HD its very pretty.

Patrick Leduc ‏@patleduc15 1h
"Am I unhappy about not playing more, sure, but that's normal when you don't play. Frankly, I'm a little annoyed by the false rumors." #IMFC

"I'm not upset at anyone on the team or the organization. All I can do is be the sharpest possible and I think I have in past weeks." #IMFC

"I don't control the system we play. Could I play myself into another position? Possibly..." Andrew Wenger #IMFC.

Even though.

EDIT: Jeremie Janot really seems obsessed with Montreal lol.

Really jealous of Sporting KC. What a team they have. From the first to the last line, eventhough I hate Nielsen. The worse part is that they actually are a young team with players just getting in to their prime, if not heading towards it. Pretty incredible, even after losing Kei Kamara, they keep doing great, especially with Claudio Bieler scoring in the 88' a couple of mins ago to get a 1-0 win over DCU

Plus their starting defensive mid is Barcelona's president's son. Talking about good relationships.

Did Schällibaum ever get fined or suspended for the water (bottle) incident?

It's not clear whether it's because of suspension or because he's out of town

So sad that there's no game tonight. Would've been an awesome night with the Habs-Bruins game!
