I'm all for this. Could be the beginning of a way to capture asteroids for the purpose of mining, or ensnaring resources such as water and other elements for our eventual colonization of space.

All your asteroids belong to us...

Not surprised, I believe James Cameron is part of a venture to not only hunt for them but to find a way to land on them and mine resources to bring back to Earth.

I hope I live to see the day where going out and shooting asteroids with 50-megawatt lasers in spacecraft is a recreational activity.
