Craziness man. I'm the same, but going into my 2nd year at University of Alberta.

I did my DEC at John Abbott! Woot woot!! (whatever that means)

Did my BA (poli sci) and MPPPA (Masters in Public Policy and Administration) at Concordia. Ah those 2 day weeks, I know them well. My first year I was able to take classes M-W from 6:05 to 10:45 p.m. Sounds great, but it also meant that I missed 2 hockey games a week! (at the time the Habs played every monday and every weds).

Now I'm in my last year of law school in Toronto (as I say repeatedly, in the belly of the beast)

My gf just finished her criminology BAC at the U de M... seems interesting, but keep in mind that you could end up working in jail like most the graduates.

Do you live on campus, or somewhere nearby? I took the French program there last month, and stayed at the residences.

Thanks for the advice

Actually just last friday I finished a 4 months-long stage that concluded my Nursing Bachelor's degree, did it at University of Montreal... now if I can get a hold of someone from the university today to fax me a letter confirming I've succeeded in that stage, I'll have a full time-day shift work next week exactly where I wanted So excited

I might also continue with a DESS or a certificate, not sure yet though.. right now im taking a year to work full time thats for sure

As far as I know, they're still bankrupt.... the new building won't be built for many more years. They had to lower the standard(R score) so they could allow more ppl into the program to make more $$$$. I find it stupid that its 10 times better than McGill's business program but it harder to get into McGill

OT: I have a deferred exam tomorrow that counts for 100% of my course mark (6 credits), and I'm not ready for it. If I just don't show up, can I drop the class so it doesn't show on my transcript?
At that point - No (*caveat* Unless things have changed dramatically from my university days: There is a "drop" date, after which you get an incomplete or an F etc..)
