If (huge if) the Wild win on Tuesday night, I'm gonna guarantee the Wild will be in the playoffs this season.

Bold I know but possible.

He's actually one of the more consistent goalies out there.

Looks like it was the right decision to sit Gilbert/Clark, though Falk was bad as per usual. Interesting to see if all remains the same for Tuesday.

Let's leave Butch in Columbus.

Maybe it's time to put him in the doghouse again. It seems to be the only way to get him fired up.

I think we're budging up against the cap too much. I don't know how much of a pro-rated contract Zucker has but we only have apparently .049 million left in cap space.

You can carry 23 players this time of year...are we at that number?

The issue isn't roster space, it's cap space.

I'd guarantee it now... It's just a matter of positioning IMO. Even if we only go .500 we'll still get in. That's the beauty of the conference only schedule for us and other teams in the top 8 right now. It's so hard to gain grown especially with only 10 some games left.

Well, like you said, put Harding on LTIR...or, I believe I heard that as each day passes, we gain additional cap space flexibility due to salaries being prorated.

Take it back! It's too damn close right now, and it's been a bumpy road over the last couple weeks. Nothing is a lock for this team right now.

Is Russo the only reporter at the Yeo presser?

Agreed. But we have some very winnable games at the end of the schedule here with Calgary twice, Edmonton twice and Columbus once more at home.. I think we'll be okay.

Butch has been struggling in his last few, but remember he also was super hot after returning from being benched. With Cullen hurt, PMB was moved down a line and moved to center. He's been a 3C for his last 3.5 games, and being a playmaker with Mitchell and Clutterbuck as linemates is kind of a tall order considering how often those guys hit the net.

They're at the gift shop nearby. Another win, they get ready to board the buses out of the area. Another loss, straight to the ledge again.

To be fair, beating the Hawks would make the playoffs much closer than some would probably think.
