Winnable? Yes. A good team on the brink of making the playoffs should be winning those games. And a couple weeks ago, I'd feel pretty comfortable facing those teams. But things shifted. Will the Wild come out firing is the question....something they even failed to do at home against the Blues last week. And those teams can excel at being playoff spoilers. The Wild was very good at that during their early years. It's something to play for. Teams in our division would love to ruin our chances even though they probably hate Vancouver more. And the Oilers are actually playing quite well right now too.

Do I expect the Wild to win most of those games? Yeah. They better. But they can't go in thinking anything is a lock or that it's an easy win, because they'll get caught with their breezers down around their ankles.

Meh. No more dangerous than having drunk fans hanging over the half walls of row 1 in the upper level at the Xcel. Or letting Stoner play defense.

Kidding. Stoner didn't suck that much today, so we'll give him a free pass.

I've taken a step back. I want to see how they do this week at home before I'll believe the new wild is back.

Maybe Chicago will rest their top players since they clinched a playoff spot like they do in baseball.

Damn, sounds like I missed a great game.
Sucks that Koivu got no points, though.
I'm temporarily off the ledge.

I'm loving the season finale against Colorado, if we need it to get in. Hopefully doesn't come to that.

I just don't get why people allow themselves to be so quickly pushed over the ledge and yet then come back and be fine once the play ok and win but then jump off the ledge again as soon as they lose a game. Don't you people realize in a season there are going to be ups and downs, wins and losses, bad games and good games, Etc? I don't know just seems crazy

I do...it's the nature of being a fan (fanatic) on a team message board.

Being an emotionally invested MN sports fan for a few decades will drive you crazy. As a Wild, Twins, and Vikes fan, I've learned that we just can't have nice things. And even after getting burned 16,938 times, I still fall victim to it every freaking year.
