I dont understand that one either. Vail is on an ATO. The purpose was to evaluate him in the few remaining games at AHL level.

There is nothing at stake for the Dogs, so why is he scratch, if he is healthy???

Why play Mayer in the net if he is leaving for Europe next year?

Tinordi Thrower/Dietz
vet Dietz/Thrower
Stejskal
Doubt they keep Stejskal around, especially with Ellis having a contract for two more seasons.

Pretty good. He wasn't dangling as much as he did the first two games, but kept things simple.

I was pretty impressed with his board work. At one point he outmuscled Paul Mara for the puck and fought his way all the down the boards, to behind the net. He made some real good passes too, but they didn't create much in the form of scoring chances.

AHL trade deadline is tomorrow (April 10)
Hopefully the Dogs/Habs will loan a forward to another team (I'm thinking/hoping Nokelainen)

They absolutely should loan a forward or two out of there. The logjam is going to get even worse with Collberg coming in and if we send down Dumont at some point.

Maybe we should lend some of our ATO's so that they get to play in well coached competitive team

There is no logjam in the Hammer, this team is awful and any kids signed to SPC's or PTO's should immediately get into the lineup but the idea of loaning out someone is plausible, say a guy like Morgan Ellis or Patrick Holland. I'm sure some AHL clubs are sniffing around for "load/trade" deals like we see every year at the clear day deadline.

And that is not happening right now...we should loan out a no-future-in-the-org veteran like Nokelainen, who is currently stealing ice time away from Brady Vail because Nokelainen ''is good in the room'' or some other bizarre reason.

We ****ing get it. You're pissed because you don't see wins at the end of games. Guess what? It's a farm team for a ****ing reason. The kids develop, maybe win some games, maybe not.

The Bulldogs are starting to put some pretty interesting lines together. It's too bad that Hudon & Vail have to go back to their Junior teams next season.Collberg should be here for Friday's game or at least that's my hope,he'd make a fine addition to the PP.

Relax bud, just stating the obvious about the team. We have had excellent teams in the past and it's a down year, **** happens, I'm not too broken up about it.

This is true, but it's fair to say that the Bulldogs are an awful team this year. Even if winning is not the priority, it probably helps.

It helps get you extra games in the playoffs to develop in, at the very least.

No it's just every time you post it's to say the exact same thing: that the team is terrible. Not to comment on a player's progress or anecdotes or such just that it's a piss poor team. Yes we see that they are the worst performing team in a bit and we know why.

I may have overreacted a little sorry but posts like that sometimes annoy me.

Lefbvre (SP) is NOT the guy to be sitting on our pot of gold. Mark my words please.

You're not the only one to think this way. A lot of people want him gone and actual AHL vets brought in. Not ****ing Stortini and Hagel. IMO this is the biggest area where Bergevin has failed so far.

I'm still hoping that Bergevin will sign Drew Leblanc,Antoine Laganiere,Rylan Schwartz or a couple of the top College Free Agents to play in Hamilton or try to break into the Habs lineup next Sept.If not then at least offer some tryouts during the Summer Camp to those players and give the new draft choices some competition.
