Not good. If we don't win Tues-Thurs...those games in hand will catch up quick.

Watching the standings is just not healthy.

Well, at least that pretty much finishes off Tampa. Gotta win that head to head with the Caps, and keep winning the other games.

and we have to start begging the Hockey Gods to stop Ovie from scoring like he's only 23 years old again.

LOL at the Bolts player trying to stop Ovy from the bench.

Man, how does an ugly mofo like Ovechkin get to go home to a girl like that.

Maria Kirilenko is a legit 10. Ovechkin looks like a Sasquatch that roams the Ural Mountains. If she has a thing for Russian NHLers, couldn't she step it up and go for someone like Burmistrov? He just needs to lose the 80s rock mullet and he's good.

It's a long shot, but Montreal has to win Tuesday or I'd say it's 95% over.
Really screwed ourselves with those back to back losses to Washington.

Ovi probably has unreal swagger off the ice as well, based on what you can see of him in interviews...

And how dare you suggest Burmi cuts the flow...it's awesome...

Sabres keep the Devils to 1 point on the night, good news for us I guess. But we'll be back in 10th for a bit.

And a great personality, guy seems like he would be hilarious to hang out with.

Money, confidence, sense of humor, boyish charm with accent = women.

Yeah, possibly. All we can do is win. If we finish strong, I think we could make it one way or the other.
However, I'd rather tank than finish 7 or 8, and face MTL or PIT.

Caps schedule is way tougher than the Jets, their commentators even mentioned it during the broadcast.

MTL 2x, OTT 2x, BOS, TOR, TB, CAR, WPG

vs.

BUF 2x, CAR, FLA, TB, NYI, MTL, WSH

Jets remaining schedule is full of very winnable games. On paper at least, they often seem to have a different idea of what winnable is.

That's awesome . It's damn near impossible to hate Ovi, IMO, he is just such a character...

Russian men... there's just something about them.

You have rough looking men and beautiful women together.

But then you have Malkin and his girlfriend. Woof.

If Jets don't make the playoffs I think Caps will be the team that I cheer for (don't kill me please). They were one step from death's door when they played that back to back game against the Jets, they stepped up and fully deserve being in a playoff position now. It would also be nice to see the reaction on HFBoards after Ovie wins a cup since HF had declared Ovie washed up and a buyout candidate in the summer

While i have no real hatred towards the caps, their defense isn't really that much better than ours. No way in hell are they going to win a cup let alone get to the finals..

The Caps have a lot of tough games left.
Ideally we force them to win them.
If we go 6-2 over te next stretch, which on paper is doable, and they finish a head if us I can handle that.
I just want us to play well. If its not enough that's okay.

That said, those two home games will haunt me for a long time.

The Ovie is no longer elite thread should be put to bed for awhile, but I suspect there are some HOF who will downplay his recent accomplishments no matter what he does.

Ovechkin's 'terrible' season was still better than any seaso ever by a Jet player.

If he keeps up his play he has a chance at really padding his trophy case. If he wins the Richard/Art Ross he'll have a chance at winning the Hart too.
