This is truly a joyous day.

Australia has just taken the first step toward hockey mediocrity.

McKenna was playing in an Asian league! Imagine how much he towered over the rest of the league. I wonder who the next tallest player was.

Found a link, but can't find McKenna's name anywhere on a Asia League team.

Remember Jason Podollan? He's playing there! Derek Plante too.

Steve McKenna is playing in the Asian League next season. Apparently, being head coach of the Aussie national team isn't a full time job, go figure. I kinda followed his career during the lockout and thought it was cool he played summer hockey in Australia. I wonder why more fringe NHLers don't do this, it could become like the USBL is for pro basketball.

Sorry to dig up a post from last week, but I was just watching some clips on youtube and McKenna's fighting style reminds me of Parros. Niether of them really seem to get their balance set. So my questions is....

Who would win in a Parros vs. McKenna showdown?

Completely hypothetical and ridiculous, but there isn't much else going on.

McKenna would probably win, but give Parros some time and I think he will be the better fighter.
