It's "still too" early to use the words "still too" in any capacity with regards to the Blue Jays, or anybody's baseball season yet, lol.

It's not too early to talk about the Blue Jays being too reliant on the home run. It's been their M.O. for three seasons already.

That's a nice rebound from yesterday. Rasmus looks good, has a great swing.

Was in my garage and I heard 2 or 3 police sirens going off in the North East.

Anyone know what's going on?

And the Blue Jays' "offense" continues to struggle mightily while R.A. Dickey gets roughed up. He left the game to Bronx Cheers.

Blue Jays fans are right to be irritated with Dickey's start to the season but their main concern should be those ice cold bats. The Jays hitters are horrendous right now. They're allowing pitchers to have 7, 8 pitch innings against them. Cabrera looks especially bad.

So you mean that Tambellini's methodical rebuild is better than AA's jump start rebuild?

Baseball is completely different considering the lack of a salary cap. If you spend, spend, spend on established talent then theoretically you should win your fair share of ball games and I still believe that the Blue Jays will.

Just joking man.

I wish the Oilers had someone as good as AA at his job in the GM position.

Well, for a while there it looked like he was following some kind of Tambelliniesque "re-building" model, which is completely asinine in baseball. If your owner has the money then spend it. Dickey looks bad so far but looking at this year's rotation it's world's beyond last years. I have no clue why they insisted on throwing guys like Huchinson, Alvarez and Drabek into the fire of a major league starting rotation last year.

I've been at the last 6 games. Its ranged from good (morrow, jose freaking reyes, bautista, cecil, henry blanco looking creepy and old) to ok (johnson, melky, delabar, loup) to straight up awful (sir edwin of encarnacion, rasmus, JP, lind, bonifacio, izturis, de rosa).

definitely need lawrie back. de rosa can't play 3rd base and bonifacio needs to adjust to that turf ASAP. way too many errors.

no offense to baseball fans, but I hate it when Baseball starts up again. Half of sportscentre highlights are now baseball recaps of teams I couldn't care less about.

This is kind of an odd statement as the Jays have actually proven nothing, so why is AA good at his job? I don't think making moves ala Brian Burke makes you a good GM.

When he took over from JPR he got rid of once thought immovable contracts in vernon wells and alex rios, dealt his two best pitchers at the time for good returns(gose, d'arnaud, lawrie), completely rebuilt and restocked the farm system into the best in baseball which allowed him to trade for jose reyes, josh johnson, dickey etc.

I could go on but hes called the ninja for a reason

Anthopoulos did a good job. The players that he acquired are established star talents in a very individualistic sport. It's the players that are letting him and the fans down (so far).

Slightly baffling that Women's Canada vs Russia takes precedent over the March Madness finals on TSN. If it was Canada vs USA and Rod Black had no involvement it would be justifiable, but this is just silly.

Hockey and baseball are completely different. One sport is almost exclusively team based and the other is more individualistic. Established, star talent guarantees success in baseball almost 99.9 percent of the time.

Not sure if this is the right place but just wanted to ask does anyone in here own a Cadillac? Looking to get some stuff fixed and Westgate Chev just lost me as a customer.
