I thought Lowe was already named team MVP?

Yes, he was. "Touting" was a poor choice of words. I should have said they were supporting that selection.

There is nothing mvp about taking a stupid retaliatory penalty with a one goal lead in a playoff game.

I think they better get a new panel.

All four series tonight, only game on TV is the Kamloops vs Kelowna game at 8pm on Shaw. Should be interesting to see if there are four teams one game away from winning their series or if we are going to some more sweeps. Rebels did win yesterday and are down 2-1 to Calgary, the rest are 2-0.

Just domination in this first period. 3-0 and the shots are 15-1.

This is a little premature but it looks like we're heading for an Edmonton/Calgary Eastern Conference final.

The Tigers played the Oil Kings tough at points during the first two games but the bubble has completely burst tonight. 5-0 Oil Kings in the 2nd. Langhamer is in net for the Tigers now.

This has to be on TV right?

Hitmen and Oil Kings had some great games this year.

It's ugly out there. 7-0 Oil Kings.

How many goals have they given up in these playoffs? I think that I can count them on one hand.

I think that the Oil Kings/Warriors eastern conference final games were on Shaw last year.

Hahaha yup, looks like they've given up 5 goals.

19.3 is the average goals against, and that includes the teams who got swept in the first round...

I hope a battle of Alberta series is too inciting for shaw to pass up, it's a shame though because Portland/Kamloops could be a hell of a series too.

Wow, just looked up the score and couldn't tell if it was 7-0 after the 3rd or after the game. Still another period to go. .

Under 7 minutes to go, and it's 9-1.

I dont remember the Oil Kings really blowing out teams this often in the regular season like they have in these first two rounds...

They didn't this year. It's weird. This is more like their offense from 2011/2012.

The OKs are amazing. I'll definitely hit up some games in the next couple rounds.

Terry Jones just tweeted that they've outscored their opposition 40-7 over 8 games.

All I can do is .

Fantastic win for the Kings. With the Rebels losing tonight in OT, A playoff Battle of Alberta WHL style is looking more and more likely.

If there is a playoff series against Calgary, I want to be there. Each game would be an all-out bench brawl waiting to happen.

Shaw has been showing the Blazers this round so it wouldn't surprise me if they show them again. Probably would get at least one Sportsnet game of the series that Shaw doesn't have though. It is a shame that they don't show more Junior Hockey out west.

Wow, it seems when this team wants to play its best, they're so much better than anyone we've seen so far that they're able to score at will. It looks like Calgary in the next series so we'll see how that one goes. The real test will likely be Portland, although I have a friend in Kamloops and the says that the Kamloops coaches think they can beat Portland. However, coaches have to say that, I suppose, but the really think it. If we played Kamloops, I wonder if the OKs would put on a bus trip to one of the games. I might be on that bus, if there was one.

Oil Kings yield an early shorthanded goal courtesy of Hunter Shinkaruk. This is the first time that they've trailed in the series.
