Nassib to Buffalo? Sadly the easiest prediction of the draft not of Top 10 picks
You wouldn't take Nassib in the 2nd? I'd be surprised if he made it to 41 but I say take him if he does

I wouldn't take a QB in the first 3 rounds.... wait until next year. But if one did go it should be Nassib (and only if he is there in the 2nd).

ESPN Radio has a top QB bracket of all time. The Final is Manning vs. Montana

I'm starting to come around on Manuel as well. Guy could be a steal.

Any info on UConn TE Ryan Griffin? He's visiting OBD today.

Warmack/Eifert at #8 seems to be picking up some steam in random shock mocks.

At 8? Seems like the right time to trade down for extra picks if they want Eifert.

Yeah I saw that yesterday. Buscaglia's drafts aren't really the impressive. I have a hard time believing the Lions would trade up to draft an OT that could just as easily fall to them at 5. He does a nice troll job putting Nassib's picture on there and having the Bills draft Barkley

That would be ideal, but you never know if there's a willing partner or if someone else reaches for him. Marrone's offense is about exploiting mismatches. Eifert fits Nix's "open without being open" criteria and fills the big possession WR void. I think it could also be argued that he's the safest pass-catcher in this draft.

Kyle Williams is better in every aspect. Hopefully Dareus will have a big bounce back year.

Agreed with Myllz and dma.

Dareus has the tools to one day be better than Williams I think, but right now Williams is an All-Pro talent.

Marcell Dareus just turned 23 in March and has 11 career sacks in two seasons. Kyle Williams is turning 30 in 2 months and has 18.5 career sacks. Dareus is the better pass rusher and has a higher ceiling. Kyle Wlilliams wasn't half the player Dareus is at the age of 23. Williams didn't break out until he was 26 in 2009.

I think Dareus had some serious mental issues last year dealing with the murder of his brother and didn't start playing better until the end of the year. I expect him to be a monster this year.

This isn't who was better when they were 23... it is who is better now. Williams gets double teamed and still gets more pressures than Dareus.

Bump I guess.

I'm really hoping that we trade back and grab a LB (Okafor, Ogeltree, Jones) or Eifert, and then Nassib with the next pick. The thing I love about Nassib is the exponential growth over his college career. He came in as a 2-star prospect, and is now being considered for a 1st round pick. He is a super smart guy (Big East Scholar Athlete), and he has a good arm too. I hate the comparisons between him and Fitz, I don't think they're at all alike.

If we trade back, we might be able to grab an extra second round pick, and grab a WR too.
Thats a LB+QB+WR in the first two rounds, while we use the later rounds to address G, CB, or whatever else they see fit.

I agree with that. If we are gauging them right now, Williams is top 10 in the NFL for DT's while Dareus is still just above average. That being said, I am soooo excited for the future with Marcell. He's got all the tools as mentioned in previous posts and a great mentality and has shown flashes of being dominant. Dareus is the real deal but Williams is just peaking at the moment.

Guessing for headlines, don't read into mock drafts until the week before the draft happens. I know these things we went to high school together (with Pat Kaleta). Joe was one of the first people I heard talk about Gilmore last season, interested in how accurate his last mock will be. Dudes a psycho about the draft.

No, no Nassib. Enough Syracuse guys. You can only take so much from an average college football team and have it be the figures of your franchise

Which takes the pressure to draft one of this year's QBs off.
