Knew the Neilson/Neilsen was going to be an issue for anmes before too long. LOL. Do not know much about Neilsen. Will comment once I see how he does. So far, Tanner Richard looks like a keeper. Has fit in well and not looked out of place at the AHL level.

#4 for the Crunch (Carl Nielsen, yes this is the correct spelling) is a converted D-man trying to learn how to play Forward. Definition of a project, but potentially worth it. He's big.

Why forward? With all the injurys should be enough spots on the Crunchs defense. Or not?

Not sure what he's doing trying to learn how to play forward. Maybe wasn't considered good enough to play D at the next level. Could be a backward skating issue :p

The Crunch are short on forwards since that is what is mostly called up right now, and they have a bunch of defensemen.

No slight to Connolly or Panik, but they should go back for the run now.

I'm not sure that Killer is even eligible to go back down for their playoff run. Was he in the batch who were "reassigned" on TDL?

Yeah, didn't think so. That kid has solidified his spot in the NHL imo. So smart and damned progressed in his all around game imo.

Yeah, when guys like MARTY say they want him on their line, it probably means he is staying up

Sustr gets his first pro point, an assist on a PP goal.

Looking for something to do? Here's a live MacKinnon and Drouin vs Poirier playoff game, playing now.

I'd like us to take a chance on Tyrell Goulbourne at some point. I could see him being an effective 4th liner down the road.

Anyone know if Sergeev is gonna join the Crunch for the playoffs now? Or is he not eligible since he wasn't on their roster on TDL day?

Crunch has new coach on the ice this morning, Darryl Seward. Helping out with video with Garlock gone to TB

Seward will be here the rest of the season. He is free because Moncton, where he is an assistant, is finished

Moncton's head coach just got canned, but he remains their Dir. of Hockey Ops. They lost in the first round to a team that used 1-3-1 and 8 defensemen. Hmm...

If Brian Garlock's gone to the NHL, who was the Crunch's video coach, then that doesn't look too good for Nigel Kirwan.
