I don't see too much dominating. I see the Leafs rearguards keeping the Rangers to the outside.

We had the puck for the last 8 minutes. Exciting, endless cycling with 3 guys behind the net. Looks like Torts is coaching the new guys up.

Endless cycling of the puck with no net result (no pun intended) FTW.

Just got in, looks like it was a bad bounce for the goal?

Girardi's thoughts on the first 20: "Del Zotto is a ****ing idiot. The solution is to put me on the powerplay"

Yup.

I also see the Leafs speed backing up our D and making each one of their rushes dangerous.

Us? Well, I see them standing around in the neutral zone...

Zuc had two good chances that he missed on, but still. He's like an annoying mosquito up in Toronto's zone. He's stolen the puck at least 3 times creating big chances. I really think this will be the game where Zuc scores.

Not a horrible period. If wasn't for the post we'd be up 2-1 right now. Oh well, that's why it's called a game of inches. Up the forecheck in the 2nd period and this will be tied up in no time.

Zucc has been amazing, as usual. So happy management decided to add him.

2 posts and of course after the second one Toronto comes down and scores. Suck, I think Hank thought it was in between his glove and pad and that's why he tried to stay still squeezing tightly there.

that cycle towards the end of the period with clowe and richards was awful. clowe and richards were literally a foot away from each other on the boards. what are you going to accomplish doing that?

They had a brief spurt of forechecking and it immediately seemed to be paying off, at least looked like it to me, but it kind of faded away.

Amazing is a stretch. He was okay, looked creative again. He's had far better periods, though.

IIRC, after the first shot, the puck was between his glove and pad. After JVR got a second and third swipe at it, the puck rolled onto the ice.

Henke shouldn't have been left in that situation to begin with, but that puck took a pretty unfortunate path into the net.

One is retired, the other is in the AHL...

However, I agree. Kreider should be down in Hartford. Don't want him up here.
