Gotta be lucic.. Whoever try to hit him hard get injured themselves.. Just look at EMELIN and hamhuis.. Both out for season after trying to lay him out.. Lucic is too big and strong.

Okay Hamhuis was 5 games...mind you he hasn't thrown a hip check since.

I'll take flack for this, but Daniel and Henrik Sedin. Linden convinced me of it. They face the top players and D-men night in and out, and do you ever see them back off or stop fighting for the puck. Not to mention Henrik is 2nd for Ironman

I remember them not answering to Marchand and Thornton who night in and night out made fools out of them. Grow some balls Sedins twin, gotta hit people like that sometimes.

While there's no doubt Lucic is a freak and probably could bench press me with his stare, I don't think those are good examples.

Emelin for instance was a knee on knee with an awkward fall that caused the injury, not the sheer brute force impact.

EDIT: before Bruins fan get mad I said ''knee on knee'' nowhere did I say intent to injure >.>

Some of you guys, I wonder when's the last time you've stepped foot in a gym.

I doubt a dude with this physique can bench 1 plate for 10 reps. Hell, he probably wouldn't be able to do 5 reps without a spotter.

There is video of him squatting 245ish for a few reps...to parallel.

Saw training clip of some Sens players and they were struggling to parallel squat 315 for 1-2 reps... Also saw a 450ish high box squat by an nhl player.

You're joking, right? Gretzky could do 135 easily. That's what you start at on a meltdown in highschool. 135, 125, 115, etc. I knew plenty of scrawny guys that could do 135x10...And they sure as hell weren't elite athletes.

I couldn't press 135 x 10 in highschool, even though I ran cross country and track and wasn't unathletic. 100 lbs x 10 is more reasonable for a skinny teenager. I bet I could have topped Gretzky in that picture, though. Conversely, I my running buddies and I could bang out 10 reps on the machine leg press at the maximum weight.

Lucic through a knee on that hit

Not saying Emmy would have crushed him

But i doubt the results would have been as dramatic had Lucic not through a street fighter move

Lucic still might be the strongest

But I do not believe that hit to be the best evidence of it.

Lucic is strong but I don't know if you can tell by his muscles, they're nothing crazy. He was prob 20ish here.

Lucic braced himself last second. Habs fans are giving him a little too much credit to think he can think and position his body that fast lol. Same way he braced himself from the same hit 2 Habs games ago from Subban lol.

Wasnt intentional doing it, but by bracing himself for the hit, it was the knee on knee that injured Emelin. It could have been 180 ibs Marchand and if Emelin got hit knee on knee like that at the speed he would still get hurt.

Not overall, but maybe pound for pound overall, Bouillon has to be up there, 5'8 about 200 ibs

Hit on Ovie

Held his own vs Orr (all things considered)

This last video is pointless but one of my all time fav

Strongest is very ambiguous.

There are guys like Chara that probably wouldn't fair too well in the big 3 lifts just due to their extremely long limbs.

However when we're talking about on ice strength as far as hitting/not getting knocked down and being able to rag doll the opponents, he's got to be up there.

I'd go with Jagr but I was shocked when the Leafs drafted Tyler Biggs, him at the combine-

Crankshaft is a man of many appetites.

Having Catriona Lemay Doan as your sister-in-law, it pretty much goes with the territory. Her thighs/glutes were in another league on a pound for pound basis compared to anyone in the NHL. Or anyone else period.

Trust me he's huge, tall guys look skinnier and it's hard for them to look ''jacked'' like a short stocky guy - but in person Lucic looks like godzilla.
