If Bourque can play RW, than that opens up our options a bit.

I remember a game in the late 1970s (Lafleur and shutt glory days) on a Saturday night when we beat the Caps 10-3, look it up if you will. I do not fear them, they are an irrelevant franchise with stars on their jersey.

Apparently in CGY he was more comfortable on RW than LW.

Perfect.

I guess he could replace Prust then on the third line, although I'd prefer bumping Gionta down to the 4th and give Pleks another big winger.

Markov may not be what he was in his prime, but he's still good enough to carry a weaker partner. He's carried guys like Komisarek and O'Byrne who are probably worse than Drewiske. Markov seems to do best when paired with a 'stay-at-home' type, and assuming that Therrien doesn't want to disrupt the de facto #1 pairing (Subban-Gorges), Drewiske is the best fit. The alternative would be giving top four minutes to Bouillon (on the wrong side, to boot), a rookie, or Weber.

It's also going to be interesting to see what happens if/when Diaz comes back, but I suspect that he'll end up paired with Bouillon.

I hope the Habs ground these guys tonight. Holtby for whatever reason plays like Terry Sawchuk against us.

Next two games vs two ****** teams that have the Habs number.

I expect victories in both games.

We're a team that is going to play Renee Bourque on the fourth line because there is no reason to break up the top 3.

This... On your fourth line.

Nothing to see here folks see you at the celebratory PGT.

I would take Beaulieu in my top4 before Drewiske without thinking twice. Drewiske was not able to get a spot in the LA defence who have Keaton Ellerby and Alec Martinez.....Drewiske is -5 in his last 5 games and i don't believe this guy can play over 20 minutes a night. Beaulieu is pretty close to be NHL ready from the 10-15 Hamilton and the 2 NHL games we seen.

Let's see how Drewiske handle OV line....

When Ovechkin turns on beast mode there is not many who can stop him anyways.

I agree about Drewiske it hasn't been that many games but he doesn't really look good out there.

Anyways although I think we'll win I'd rather we play cautious and maybe take a few loss's over the next ten games rather than play our hearts out and loose another key player for play off's

Would you prefer having Markov-Gorges against him or Markov-Drewiske?

Preferably not Markov.

Honestly probably Boullion - Gorges. Defensive Defenseman all the way against him. Bouillion is so responsible.

And Crimson.

Chris Lee

As per Dave Stubbs, no Charles Prevost-Linton tonight and Chris Lee is reffing, not a good omen, it's like the NHL wants to give Washington a little push tonight. What's the over/under on penalties against the Habs? I say at least 6.5.

Glad Bourques back though, and on the 4th line, that's depth.

I know it won't happen, and this is not a knock on Prust who has been a revelation so far, but i would love to see Bourque with Eller and Galchenyuk. These three could do some serious damage together. Prust has had some difficulties handling Eller and Galchenyuk's crisp passes.
