Well considering if the Rangers lose tonight, we are 5 points back from 7th/8th position and we have 10 games left.

The Winnipeg loss was pretty deflating but if they lose tomorrow I would say its over if it wasn't already.

nothing wrong with hoping against hope..

i understand the math, but im still clinging to the idea of more Flyers hockey..

but i wont be passed out on the floor drunk on the last day of the season if we slip past the PO's and our season is over..

I think that Pittsburgh game where they couldn't hold a 4-1 lead and played like directionless morons after the first period was the most important game of the year.

This team is having a rough go at it in this shortened season, not ready to give up on a chance they make the playoffs, but if they do start losing this is the year to do it considering they could pick a young potential #1 Dman or I could be overly geeking up that stat, either way dish network blows so I might catch this game at the bar

Seeing our record against you guys in recent years is disturbing. I didn't have much confidence going into the game and now it's shattered! Hope for a good game and may i dare say "well officiated"

Agreed.
Losing any of the two games against the Isles would probably seal the deal.

Philadelphia Flyers ‏@NHLFlyers 33s
Steve Mason will get the start in net tonight against the Islanders #Flyers

Not surprising but interested to see how he does tonight.

Need to watch this game from the very beginning (hopefully I'll get back from school by then): simply to see how the Savior does.

I'd be ok if they gave him the nod the rest of the season. Bryz needs a rest so give it to him unless mason is leighton level bad.

Can it really get any worse in terms of goaltending?

I'm not sure why people think Bryzgalov needs a rest. I don't remember him playing much better last year with less work.

Sure can. He can suck ever game instead of half the games.
