These are the lines in practice this morning. Don't know which we will get.

I hope Moulson is back today. Really hoping Tavares breaks out tonight and starts to go on a tear.

A regulation win and the Isles are 7 pts ahead of Philly. C'mon Isles, let's finish off the Flyers.

Let's go Isles.

Strategy suggestions:

You can't dress the liability, Boulton. The boys are going to have to stand up for each other. Martin is going to have to see a little more ice to keep things under control.

Joensuu has to play over Lee. Sorry, Anders, but this decision is a no-brainer. We have a chance to really take advantage of the Flyer's bottom 6.

This is all about the Bailey-Okposo-Nielsen playing the the Flyers #1 to a draw. We get Philly frustrated, make them take penalties, and win the game on the PP or if one of our bottom six hems in Philly's Sportscreme line and weak D in the 3rd period.

When Tavares nets his Hat trick he's going to do the running man on skates.

Islanders 9
Blazers 1

nicely done trumanperro! Time to shock that monkey.

Let's see the boys play with emotion, come out strong and feisty. Flyers are always a tough opponent.

@StapeNewsday: Moulson back in tonight, likely Lee out. Carkner in for Martinek on D. Nabokov in goal for #Isles.

Agree on Boulton but do we dress Carkner for this one?

Flyers always play us tough. Wish I didn't work so late during the week so I could actually go to the games on the week days.

Yes, he's in for Marty, which doesn't come as a suprise. Marty has played against the speed teams while Carks has dressed for the physical teams.

what makes you say that? im not stubhub analyst, so i could be wrong, but there are only 600 tickets left on stubhub and the prices are about 10 dollars more expensive than they were a week or two ago....25 bucks for last row

My bad...meant to say ticketmaster. Ticketmaster has blocks of open seats for tonight's game.

dammit, I've read this script before. Rookie/unheralded free agent/down on his luck vet backup comes into the Coliseum and completely shuts us down.

You know what I say about this??

There are tickets on Stubhub/Ticketmaster/NHL Ticket exchange. I would guess between 10K and 11K tonight.

You can't judge by price. There are teams (don't know if Isles do this) that sell tickets on the secondary market in order to try and control the median price point.

Can we get some monkey / gorilla costumes at the coliseum?
Maybe some signs, that would be hilarious...

Mason sucks. Combine him with that pylon defense and the second line shutting down their first line and we should get a W. SHOULD.

I think walkups might bump up the attendance a bit. The cheap tickets on stubhub sold really quickly. I don't think people are ready to spend $60 on ticketmaster to sit in the 300's, especially on a weeknight. The Islanders, while playing great these past few weeks, haven't done enough to overcome the past years of failure.
