I don't get that arguement at all. If the players are playing like **** I'm going to voice my opinion. I don't see how the makes me less of a fan?

The only goal of the game never happens if not for his incredible pass. The record shows that as an assist.

i keep expecting to read that in tomorows paper, but it never happens.

this team continues to make changes that make no difference, instead of making REAL change.

I would have totally started a riot at the end of this game and got suspended for a few. Is that in bad character or showing signs of giving a ****?

He's plainly not a very good coach but this team just doesn't have the players, that's just obvious now. When your captain can't muster a shot on goal in the years biggest game, you have SERIOUS personnel issues.

Doesn't he have a NTC and just signed an extension? I really doubt he'd waive, imo.

Biggest game of the year.

NO SHOTS ON GOAL.

He's overrated and fireless and a big part of the problem.

No question we have personnel issues, but Giroux isn't one of them. When he is literally one of your only offensive weapons it's easy for other teams to plan their game accordingly. When we have more than one line firing on all cylinders he can be highly effective.

Holy **** we are already turning on the captain. Un ****ing real Philadelphia. Honestly we are turning on our PPG captain who is in the prime of his career. Just had one of the best season a Flyer has had in a long time, yet we are throwing him under the bus.

One thing you can guarantee about Giroux, he has the work ethic that can not be taught. He will go into the off season working his ass off.

Also I still think he is injured.

Me too. I don't think the first goal was soft. It was a good shot from right in front that handcuffed him.

So he's only good when he's not matched against good players?

He's not THE problem but let's face it he's not that good and probably in the bottom fifth of captains in the league.

This team is lacking end to end but this Giroux guy, he's not a leader.

Flyers should be ashamed of the effort tonight and the organization and the analysts need to stop talking about the Playoffs. They are an unbelievably soft team with little to no cohesion at both ends of the ice. Irregardless of the abbreviated season and the injuries, it is very telling to watch a team this out of snyc, so late in the season.

So many disappearance acts to mention tonight but Giroux looks completely lost out there. It's so hard, for me, to watch a Flyers Captain play as soft as he does. No Bill, one pass to cherry picking Voracek does not make up for his, yet another, piss poor effort tonight.

He should lose his job but not because he's not good coach. His time has run up here and different direction is needed.

Good coaches lose their jobs all the time in the NHL. It's just the way of the business. Hitchcock has coached like 6 teams now in his entire coaching career and most still consider him a great coach.

I don't how a guy with a Stanley Cup win and another finals appearance is a bad coach.
