The only thing I hate about Therrien is that he doesnt have the balls to demote DD and Gionta.

Maxpac-Pleks-Ryder-Gallagher should've been the 4 forwards in that 6on5. I hate how he doesn't rewards the players who plays well in that same game.

My take:

1)Missed tons of chances
2)Price was more than fine, he was one of our best players tonight
3)DD started off well then sucked
4)Eller scores twice and isn't on the 6 on 4?!
5)Galchenyuk-Eller-Prust were fantastic
6)We weren't ready to play the Caps
7)Reffing aside, the Caps were the better team
8)Reffing included we could've won (Honestly one of the worst officiating performances from Chris Lee ever.)
9)Needed to take a timeout sooner
10)Enough with Gionta on Plek's wing/on the PP. Replace him with Bourque
11)I'm sick of the posters on here who whine or troll about everything. Leave please.

Desharnais, Gionta, Bouillon, the team could do without these players.

I think it was a good game overall. Pretty evenly disputed. Difference tonight was goaltending.

The Plekanec line was the worst of our threr line they were invisible out there.

The Eller line had some great chanced and I would have like to see them at the end of the game or at least Eller and Galchenyuk.

I dont care if he gets a career ending injury but it's stupid at this point to play any of Bouillon, Drewiske or Beaulieur over Kaberle. Making him play ffs!!

Pacioretty has got to have the most shots that never hit the net in the league.

So, the 2nd goal was really good? I thought Chimera touched the puck and the puck touched Markov's stick before it got in

Eller is the second best centre on this team and its not even close, time for him to get second line minutes and PP minutes already.

Paciorretty couldn't have scored on a freakin soccer net. Desharnais since he signed his contract as sitted on it to make him grow 3 inches.

galchenyuk Eller awesome but no we had to see Tomas cannot win a faceoff plekanec and david midget desharnais.

Put on halpern to win the freakin faceoff and put Ryder galchenyuk Eller markov subban.Merci bonsoir. Y'e ou le mérite la dedans? Caliss

That DD line is driving me nuts horrible in their zone and cannot bank a goal to save their sorry ass. Their salary should be retained for such a heartless performance.

Yet DD made the pass that could have tied the game.

I personally would have put Pac DD Eller Galchenyuk.

It's our players fault Price couldn't see the shots coming at him though.. so I don't think Price is to blame..

Reffing was bad, but there were more glaring **** ups then just the reffing. Desharnais and Pacioretty....seriously, what the **** happened? Desharnais loses battles all over the ice, and can't even produce anything offensively. Time to split that line up.

Remember when Carbo put Ryder on the third and fourth line? He lost all his instincts and kept sucking even more and it was horrible for the room. Therrien needs to keep the guys happy.

Contract has made him complacent. Frankly, dude needs to be mated with Gio so they only kill one line instead of two. I hope we go on a losing streak so Therrien actually juggles the lines.

Bad showing all around. Chris Lee certainly sucks, but I don't know how someone could complain about the reffing. They weren't calling anything, the Caps realized that and started to exploit it. Montreal should have started playing like that too.

It's nice to see that we put some pressure at the end and managed to get within one. I really liked how Beaulieu was one the ice late in the game. Same goes for Eller and Galchenyuk. Galchenyuk has 5 points in his last 4 games, he's really starting to pick up the pace.

I was pretty frustrated that Desharnais and Plekanec (and to a lesser extend Pacioretty) were out there after icing. Galchenyuk and Eller should have taken their place IMO.

Fine, **** Gionta AND Desharnais.

If Gionta is back on our team when his contract expires then he would have to take a serious pay-cut and a demotion. And what we see better not be what we get for the next 3 years in Desharnais case. Those two and their lack of motivation is really hurting the team, they better light fire under their ass come playoff time

lol. let's blame the refs.

this is what I prefer. Only make the calls that are necessary, they let BOTH teams play. I thought it was a good game, pacioretty just couldn't buy one.

beaulieu impressed, we really need diaz back....44, had major troubles with the extra workload.

need, well should, win thursday.

Really 5-1 in the past 6 and we aren't making the palayoffs... God all the drama queens are out tonight!

You guys do realize a year ago this team would have folded like a house of cards after that 3rd goal!

We didn't win against a hot team ... Big deal... Move on... Crips some of you need a pacifier!!

Who looks the more beatable of the remaining opponents? The Leafs on the road? The Sabres on the road? The Lightning? The Jets? The Pens on the road? The Devils? We may only need two wins to clinch a spot but I am not at all confident we can win even two of the remaining games...
