He had that shot that Eller tipped in but that was it. I agree with you too, poor game. He seems to make blind passes in the defensive zone as if he doesn't want to hold on to the puck...if he could learn to just hold it and slow down the play or stop making blind passes he would be so much better.

I don't think bergervin is ready to label us buyers so he wasn't in the market for 2nd line centers, not much he can do about dd. it's therrien that needs to handle the desharnais situation better.

Was not DD's game by any stretch of the imagination, but I gotta hand it to him, picture perfect behind the net pass to Pleks at the end there. With the game on the line and to do that perfectly, it takes poise. Too bad he wasn't able to win most of his battles or keep control of the puck in the offensive zone. I guess he had a good night in the faceoff dot though, never when it matters though.

Oh come on, Beaulieu played well as I didn't expect too much out of him. He was often against the top lines out there. It's pretty hard as a young D coming in your 3rd game and have your experienced partner make so many turnovers.

Next Game I'd try:

Bourque-Plekanec-Gally
Galchenyuk-Eller-Ryder
Pac-DD-Gio
Prust-Halpern-Moen

-Gionta needs out of the top6. He's Defence is fine, but he's a black hole of production
-DD and MaxPac need some time to figure their stuff out and they can do that on the 3rd line. A fitting [temporary] demotion.
-Plek gets better wingers, Eller-Galch get more Ozone starts and a good sniper in Ryder

Team needs to play 60 minutes, they got caught slacking and Washington got the lead Would of been nice if zebras open their eyes. Lee should be fired he is not an NHL caliber ref.
I felt like the 2 bad goals killed the teams momentum and they played flat after that. We also got murdered by Chris Lee, he let much more go than he should have. We also need more from DD and Gionta, two little guys that should be proving something and they clearly are not.

Habs gotta do something about the points shots that they constantly let through.
Either keep the wingers higher and take the shot away.....or get the **** out of the way and let Price see them
Come playoff time, somebody is going to exploit that.

Jeez, its sad because a lot of us noticed Eller and Galchenyuk the most out of the whole forward group...I had no idea they had that little TOI

Drewisky: 6 games in a row with -1; 4 games with Habs.
Eller, Galchenyuk, Subban played a great game ! Subban looks more and more dominating.

Gaston Therrien calling Bouillon a high-level Dman P.J. says he's not a top 4 now they say he's a top 5 Now they are saying Emelin is not good either...
Man I should stop watching this and watching more of that hottie from Winnipeg.

We have beaten every team you listed except the Pens, where both games could have gone either way. The habs are a great team, with only one back to back regular losses. Why the sudden loss of confidence?

Bad game for multiple reasons. No need to scapegoat anyone, just move on.

At least Gally and Eller were awesome.
You left out Prust. Sweet pass to Eller for the first goal.

Gionta has been just awful all year. He has no fight along the boards and blind passes up the middle wasting possessions.

Too bad he's the captain, if he wasn't he should be sat.

The DD line had some good chances. The Plek line was invisible out there but good defensively.

Let's calm down about DD. He'll turn a corner at some point and he was never going to finish his contract here to begin with.

and Price could stop playing so deep in his net / going down so early. He is 6'3, he should use that to his advantage.

Also I don't think anyone was in front of the weak Ovechkin wrister from the blue line. That was the momentum changer.

Everyone on AC saying Drewiske hasn't played a game all year long. The lack of basic research from those guys is pretty embarrassing.

It hurt, but I thought the Caps 2nd goal was the real deflator...it killed the Habs momentum.
