The OV goal dipped, and the 3rd goal should hav ebeen blocked by Subban but he jumped out of the way for some idiot reason.

Exactly what I thought, and add to that they call him a young Dman just like Beaulieu.

But he never really put his team in danger...and washington is a good team with depth.

he was far from perfect, but he's a rookie, and I'm not expecting too much. A couple times he thought about pinching, and didn't...it's a learning curve. give him 4-5 games until the timing is figured out.

nice try boys, hottest team in the nhl right now and we stayed with em

came so so close at the end there, great games from eller and galchenyuk and bourque even! missed him

gallagher has rendered gionta useless to this team

and my god, ..i cannot...WILL not believe...that desharnais contract BEGINS next year... 4 years...

hes got to GO. i knew this would happen the day he joined the nhl, i was happy for him, but i just hoped it wouldnt get this far. really too bad

eller should of been out there.

3 weird ass goals on carey, i feel sorry for him, there gonna drill him and its undeserved, just the ovechkin goal bothers me i guess but it happens, change up.

Man I should stop watching this and watching more of that hottie from Winnipeg.
Captain Morgan Silver Spiced Rum makes it all better. I'm actually looking forward to seeing Gaston on the jumbotron

EDIT: Gaston's praising Eller and Galchenyuk

Therrien, WHY do you put DD's line out there at the end of the game when 1, he hasn't done anything the entire night, and 2, Eller has scored both goals in the ******* game. I'm not saying we played a full 60 minutes to win, but come on, A pee wee AAA coach would have known which line to use at the end of the game.

DD and Patch need to be split up. Enough is enough.

We pile up weaknesses upon weaknesses: finish-less offense, heartless defense, our physical game is going down, our inability to clear the crease... perhaps calling up Tinordi would help somewhat.

Even if we do make it, I do not expect the Habs to make it past Round 2. Perhaps we can eke a series win, but I expect that, in that case, whoever we face in Rd 2 will eat us alive (even if it took 6-7 games to do so)

You can't wake up today and say that by losing Emelin, you lost all physicality. If you do, it means that D was awfully build as losing 1 player shouldn't mean losing ALL of you physicality. Makes no sense to me. If you don't have a choice in signing Markov, and you didn't have, you HAD to do something extra to add a few more to help him. Was never done and don't tell me Bouillon is the answer in helping him.....

On a positive note, Cole only has 4 points since the trade.

Damn it, I want to love Price, i really do, he has all the skills, poise, talent, just hasn't hit the upper echelon yet like PK where he clearly stands out above the rest. We're in a strange goalie era at the moment were there's no consensus top guys like in the 90s (Hasek, Roy, Brodeur). Kind of a revolving door of very good goalies, but not spectacular. I sincerely hope Price achieves that glory.

geez can't win them all but team played in spurts and looked down from the high on Saturday.

not liking maxpac and DD right now. not seeing why chucky and Eller aren't eating half-ling's minutes.

Gio, wow ,just useless outside being in front of the net...weak, slow, bad shot, bad puck retrieval.

I'd move him for a pick this summer and resign ryder for 2-3 years - slot him and bourque with plekanecs

make gorges captain, plekanecs assistant

Physicality going down =/= losing all physicality.

MT smokes right? He looks like a smoker. Hell, when they hire you to coach the Montreal Canadiens, I'm sure they give you a complimentary carton of Du Maurier's

Yeah, while Galchenyuk was the star of that goal, Prust played a big part on it and played on overall good game. His hands sometimes can't keep up with his linemates but he's nevertheless a good compliment to those two.

Anyway I really don't understand all that negativity, we played a below average game but also had some awful luck. Time to stop reading more into it than that.
