I like how my textbooks look on my shelf. They're monuments to my accomplishments. Also, our school changes textbooks (editions, mainly) pretty much every year so it's impossible to sell books, anyway.

BCIT Robotics and Automation, I should be in 2nd year engineering, well, "should be". But I failed 2 courses in my 2nd term and so now I'm going to a tech school. Nice thing about this program is I can then transfer to 3rd year mechanical engineering. Of course this is if all goes well.

Dalhousie University 3rd-ish year Engineering. Was in Computer/Electrical, but didn't like it (or failed two courses...however you want to look at it), so I'm in Industrial now.

i have a couple friends who are going in mechanical engineering at Poly, probably should have went too, but in civil engineering
