Only 15000 tickets sold for the first game. That's very low, but given the temperature previsions this may be expected.

I'm getting tired of the long winter we had this year.

There are still 4 days left before the game... Considering the weather forecast, 15k is good. Means we will end up being ~17k.

According to my Twitter feed it was. Thanks to the STM I missed it ;(

EDIT: Just found this on Twitter. -- http://marschmadness.com/about/

Looks like Jesse Marsch is going around the world with his wife and three kids in a old school "Back Pack" trip. Good on him and his family. That's the link to his diary/blog about their "World Tour"

I only had Real Madrid-Galatasaray. I missed the 1st half, but 2nd was quite entertaining. Would've prefered the Dortmund-Malaga game though.

That's what I call a world class finish! To be honest, all 3 Galatasaray goals were nice. That strike from Eboue was insane!

According to Meteomedia, we're looking at 15-20 cm of snow on Friday. Any idea if the game is played on Saturday if we get that much snow? I know the US played in a blizzard about 3-4 weeks ago.

As long as the snow falls friday and not saturday we should be fine.

It's a good thing the game is at Saputo Stadium because if it was at Olympic Stadium it would have to be postponed because of the snow on the roof.

Actually it would be cooler if it would be snowy saturday instead of friday... it would make it a crazy game.

I don't know where anyone is seeing 15-20cm. Meteomedia says 5-10 at this moment. And from my reading of the weather we're not in for fluffy white snow.

Its going to be a mix of sleet, wet snow and cold rain all day friday, turning to only cold rain on saturday.

Any solid snow that falls will most likely melt on impact on the warm ground, or be melted by the rain, so its very unlikely that anyone will need shovels or anything.

I'm not sad to miss the game, chances of cold rain during the game are decently high...

Arsenal dominated their midfield in the second leg. That lead me to believe that Juve would absolutely destroy Bayern's midfield today, which wasn't the case.

In other news, Nobody seems to care bout Jesse?

Sorry Laurent this is gonna hurt.. there's pseudo domination and actual domination. Arsenal looked like they had them contained but Bayern was still in control overall.

I can't deny that they were in control of the situation, but going forward, Arsenal had all the momentum. Bayern settled down the tempo and managed the clock with the ball, but to say that they had more intent and success going forward than Arsenal isn't completely fair. Atleast that's how I viewed it.

True that Bayern had no urge to go forward quickly leading the series and having three away goals in their pockets, but Juve were in the same situation as Arsenal; needed goals. Especially with Juve being dominant and at home, I would of have expected them to completely dominate going forward, but their lack of a true striker/center forward is pretty obvious.

You know you have a problem when your covered stadium doesn't guarantee playing conditions and your outdoors does

Which still sucks 'cause I have to drive from Quebec City to Victoriaville to Asbestos to Sherbrooke THEN to Montreal with my summer tires on haha.
