Canucks Vs Flames - 7:30 - Snet

Nothing fancy, just wanted to talk about the game.

I see the Canucks winning this easily despite Luongo putting in a horrible effort.

Canucks in our arena. A win would make me very happy. 3-2 Flames. Sven scores a hatty, because why not!

Fan in me wants the Calgary to roll over the nucks. Realist in me knows there's very little chance unless there is divine intervention.

Want: 5-1 Flames
Know: 4-1 Nucks

im gonna pull for the Flames but even a loss would help them get some leverage towards #1/#2 overall. :\

How much effort does he have to put into opening and closing the gate all game long?

This is a lethal idea considering I have two assignments due tomorrow. I shouldn't even be watching the game, let alone putting alcohol into my body at the same time.

Gonna be watching this one with some beers ready. First game I've had time to watch in a while. Maybe we will put in a good effort. Anyone know if Kipper is starting?

He is, as per Steinberg.

I have a bad feeling Kipper is going to get lit up tonight.

Only thing I'm cheering for is for Baertschi, Horak, Reinhart and to a lesser extent Brodie to get on the scoresheet.

There's nothing like a triple A dry-aged Alberta beef ribeye with a champagne glass of Vancouver Canuck fan's tears as they watch their team crumble to ours.

Or you know, we could draft Jones. ;]

Would rather the second, not because I wish eternal misery upon your team but because I'd rather have reason to hate the Flames again.

...and by that I mean I hope your team starts climbing back up the ranks.

Sigh. As a resident of Victoria, I have to put up with the Canucks-centric Sportsnet Pacific commentary. Still not as bad as Boston or Colorado though.

Hopefully we kick the **** out of em tonight. And maybe McGrattan and Sestito renew acquaintances? Unless is Grats still out?

My bad if he is. I have been all over the WHL playoffs more than the NHL of late.

Shorthouse & Garrett? Pretty homerish but I guess they play to the majority of their audience.

Again, not as bad as Charlie Simmer.

I think he still is. Otherwise they wouldn't have needed to bring up Blair Jons for this one. I'd say if anyone's chucking knuckles tonight, it's Steve Begin or Tim Jackman.
