Preds Training Camp Schedule and Roster Set

http://www.nashvillepredators.com/pr...p?story_id=986

Looks like Tootoo finally gets the "22"

Legwand is back and ready to go from his ACL reconstruction.

It looks like Lasila, Laakso, and Darsins won't be there....not very surprised by this though.

sure his size is impressive ... but there has to be a question why WASHINGTON let him go

Most guys dont pick there training camp numbers. Unless you are a proven, full-time NHL-er or a returning player from the previous year with that team, you are usually assigned a number.

Correct. Radulov will probably end up with another number, when all is said and done.

Radulov wore #47 in camp last season too. Just like Smithson, Fiddler, Weber, Klein, and Zanon last season all kept their numbers from training camp until they were in Nashville when a new batch of jerseys arrived (which for Zanon and Klein never happened, Fiddler didn't change).

If he makes the team out of camp I'm sure his number will change (if he wants it to), but if he reports to Milwaukee first...he'll keep #47 until he earns the right to choose another number.

i'm more excited about camp after seeing the schedule... we'll get to see more of the early camp than i thought we might, what with the florida portion of camp this year again..

the good thing, is we'll see the early part of camp, where you get to look at new individuals and their skillset.. and see all the guys that will be the early cuts before they're sent back to the ahl or juniors.. lots of guys i've never watched up close to see this year again

on the negative side, we won't get to see in person lines and pairings come together as they tend to do late in camp, and we'll miss the late scrimmages that really show off the near final product before the start of the season

but all in all it worked out a little better than i feared it might for those of us who usually never miss this

as an aside, i continue to be unable to even sign on the site when i first get home.. i assume because of the heavy load after work and school

I too feared that we wouldn't see much of camp when the Florida trip was announced initially. I'm very interested in seeing the progress our junior players have made since last year and I'm also looking forward to watching our new Euro imports and how they fit in on defense.

There should be some really exciting battles all over the rink this season and I'm very excited for camp to begin.

Other than the vbookie downgrade, the server has been running fine. I would second Nomore's suggestion.

I would suggest that you delete all the porn on your computer to give yourself some more free space on your IBM 5100 model....

Looking at that depth chart at Center I'm wondering where you would rank Cal O'Reilly? At 5th, 6th, 7th?

in terms of potential, i like him a lot, but at the moment...he's behind experience.

Arnott
Legwand
Vasicek
Smithson(who i see playing on the wing this year)
Nichol
Fiddler
O'Reilly

I haven't seen enough of guys like Endicott to judge that.
