I'm going for the BLACKHAWKS

If there's one team in the west I want to see improved, it's the Chicago Blackhawks.

Now I realize this franchise is in a world of hurt.

Just remember Hawks fans it's not impossible to get out of this situation. It was just 3 years ago the Sabres were laughed at by everybody and they had only 1 win in a 15 game swing. Now the Sabres can compete with the best of them and they didn't go out and really grab the BIG names.

The Hawks can do the same and although I've never been to Chicago or anywhere near it, I'd love to see the City get behind the team and for the Hawks to make some noise again. I love the jerseys, the name and for some reason I just miss seing them in the playoffs.

Here's to the best of luck in 06-07 Hawks fans!

I dont know, thats not the solution. The hawks made it to the playoffs 36 straight years i believe.

So... Wirtz and his buddies have finally realized what it takes to compete in the new millenium. And they have improved their shelves, get ready.

It's weird, as a Sabres/Leafs fan, I also want to see the Blackhawks do well again. It is entirely possible with the moves you have made.

There's something about those Blackhawks...

We in Chicago appreciate the good wishes..It has been extremely tough to be a Hawk fan the last 10 (!) years...The cupboard looks like it's getting stocked pretty well...Hope springs eternal.

Add me to the list of non-Hawks fans that want to see the Hawks do well this season. I especially hope Khabibulin gets his mojo back.

The Blackhawks go from being the toughest to the softest team in a decade and we are finally the lovable losers of the NHL. I guess that label never hurt the Cubs, but they are still losers.

I have been a Hab and Oiler fan for years. I also want to see the Hawks rise again.

It all goes in cycles. Sadly the Blackhawks cycle is a long one. I say in 4 or 5 years it is the Blackhawks and Penguins in the Stanley Cup again. A repeat of the 1991-1992 championship series. I would hope for a better result next time though...

I don't think there is a hockey fan alive who doesn't want to see Chicago do well. It would be nice if LA, Chicago and NY could all do well at the same time, that would be cool.
