Anyone got $1625

http://nyrangers.com/community/golfclassic06.asp

Groups of 4 $6,500

Your day at the 24th Annual New York Rangers Golf Classic includes: continental breakfast, 18 holes of golf with a Rangers celebrity, lunch, cocktail hour and dinner, a Rangers gift bag and Honoree programming for four group members. Foursomes available for $6,500.

As part of this special event, the Rangers will celebrate the 20-year broadcasting career of MSG Network's Sam Rosen and John Davidson.

Yeah, saw that a few days ago. They have been doing this for a few years at least. Not a rediculous price actually when you think of all the included events. A bit out of my budget though.

Damn, that's not a bad price!

Although $1625 will get you season tix.

I'd probably enjoy seeing 41 games more

I'd fork out the cash to fly out there if I was assured of playing in a group with Jagr, but sitting for dinner at JD's table.

Would be worth blowing my savings. Every penny!

They're at 50%....

I think that's pretty good for nearly 40 years. It's not too uncommon switching-out a guy here and there. Of course the last time I had tickets to see the Who was for a show in July 2002 - Entwistle died about a month earlier (I didn't make it because of work and had to forgoe floor seats next to the sound board).

Don't forget the 3 pre-season games that come with the seasons.

Every team in every sport does it. The Rangers are know different..

Just do what i do with the pre-season games. Donate them to a nice group home and know that somebody less fortunate is enjoying something they normally wouldn't be able to go too.

The place i donate too will give a receipt for taxes. I don't know if my accountant actually uses it during tax time but i imagine she does.

Who's complaining? I use those tickets. And I hope your accountant doesn't pad your expenses--the IRS is cracking down on both taxpayers and preparers who do.

I hope she isn't either.

Although I've do padded my option losses in the past but not in a few years. Although to be honest I'm not really doing anything short term anymore. I used to trade a lot of option spreads and staddles when the market had some volitlity to it.
